This week my two friends and I had the privilege of riding with JR in Coal Canyon. Riding in this setting of vast, rugged and beautiful canyon land is a treat, but we also had the fortune of getting pretty close to two bands of wild horses. JR made sure we were comfortable with our horses before setting out, impressed with the caliber of his horses. We so enjoyed hearing some history of the canyon and wild horses as well as learning about his lifelong love and experience with horses on his family ranch. Highly recommend this unique opportunity!

We took our family visiting from Japan. They enjoyed the tour, the engaging ladies driving, Desiree and her fabulous daughter, the history and views! Wonderful memories made and stories to tell for years!

We took the evening carriage ride to see the lights in downtown Grand Junction with our kids, grandkids and our parents. It was beautiful, the hot cocoa was delicious and the staff were welcoming, offered some history and interacted with the littles. It created beautiful memories and or grandkids asked if we can do it every year! The answer is YES we can!

The weather did not cooperate, but the horses, Maverick and Goose, did great and never flinched. Joe, our driver and tour guide, was delightful. Even though we were caught in a downpour, I would still recommend this experience to anyone.

We did a wine tour with friends. Desiree and Emre were our guides and they were a ton of fun. Catered the tour to our liking and made it as comfortable as possible with the heat. Highly recommend a wine tour with JR Carriages!
