I have been planning events for over a decade now and I have never experienced such awful customer service. On Saturday, May 4th I hosted the sweetest birthday party for a client in Montgomery, AL. The event was originally supposed to be at the client's home but due to rain we had to move the event inside. We communicated this with the rental vendor days before the event. The new location was also closer to the original location, so this made it easier for them.

Upon arrival to the venue the delivery driver expressed frustrations over having to walk from the front of the venue to the back of the venue. This was a red flag to me because I didn't understand what was so frustrating about doing a job that you were paid to do. After not seeing anything delivered for about 30 minutes, I walked to the front of the venue to see that the rental items were just dropped off in the middle of the lobby and the driver was nowhere to be found. This was not only unprofessional but it posed a safety issue. A guest could have gotten hurt if they tripped over one of the items. Also we paid $1.50 to have everything setup and nothing was set up. There was also no communication with me that the product was delivered and just dropped in the lobby. The staff at Escapology was nice enough to jump in and setup everything that was supposed to be setup by Kayla's Event Rentals. I tried sending a email to the company on Monday and I never received a response. Today, I followed up my email with a phone call only to be met with the rudest response. The gentleman that I spoke to was combative, talking over me, and just downright rude. I was only trying to get a clear understanding of what happened and he started raising his voice making me feel very uncomfortable. I was completely appalled as I have never had a business owner argue with a client who is only trying to get a better understanding of why the services paid for were not rendered. He showed no remorse and continued to cut me off before hanging up the phone in my face. I am literally at a lost for words. I will never use this company again.

Kayla's Rentals is a great option for event rentals in the Prattville/Montgomery area!

We were holding a sudden funeral visitation at our neighborhood residence, and Kevin, the owner, did an amazing job. He set up a 20'x20' tent all by himself in less than 30 minutes and was very friendly during the whole process.

I suggest asking him about his story that got him into this business. He also does several corporate events around the area, including tents for ASU!

He prefers that you do set up the day before the event, which is no extra charge. Same-day setup he usually charges extra for, so make sure to plan in advance and get on the phone with him to voice any concerns.

He might not answer the phone on the first ring, but leave him a message and he will get back to you.

All in all, we were very happy using Kayla's Rentals. Thank you Kevin!
