What an amazing day and tour. We went on the glacier tour and there were some questions due to the weather if we would get the full experience. It worked out well and we were able to get to the glacier. We saw a lot of wildlife and really enjoyed the boat ride and how great the captain was with spotting wildlife. The food on the boat was excellent and the staff were very friendly and safety conscious. One of the best tours we did in Alaska and highly recommend it!!

We had an absolutely amazing time on the 6 hr national parks tour. We took the 8am boat out with Capt. Wade and the crew of Carly, Gayle, and Jensen. Each of them were kind and knowledgeable and genuinely seemed to love their job. We couldn’t have asked for nicer weather or waters for our cruise. On the tour we got to see a humpback whale, sea otters, stellar sea lions, bald eagles, puffins, other sea birds, and get up close to a glacier. Lunch was served on the boat and it was pretty good….chips and southwest style chicken wrap. The cookie towards the end of the trip was a nice way to wrap it all up. I did take Dramamine before the trip as I wasn’t sure what to expect and others likely didn’t realize the ocean would cause as much movement as it did and didn’t fare so well. So, if you think you’re prone to motion sickness then plan appropriately…you are on an open ocean tour after all. Overall we had a fantastic time. I got some great pictures, we learned so much, and the crew really made it a great experience. Thanks Kenai Fjords Tours!!

We had a misunderstanding about a rule - the rule where you can't hold kids up and over railings (they even said simba style)- which also means you can't lift them just 4 inches off the ground. They really should change the rule to kids must have their feet planted firmly on the ground at all times. I feel like clear rules would help stop misunderstandings.

Also, even though we got multiple compliments on how good and well-behaved our kids were, I feel like we got a lot of snubs from the crew. I promise this isn't really a dig on the crew - my kids were the only ones on the cruise, so maybe they were not expecting it or wanting it. So, while I think the cruise I was on was great for all ages. I would really sit down and think about whether or not I would take my kids on a day sea adventure. NOW for how I saw all the adults get treated around us, I would highly recommend it for adults as the cruise is extremely attentive and kind to the needs of those 18+ with no kids.

The food wasn't my taste, but everyone else seemed to enjoy it.

What I loved most about this trip was the wonderful and magnificent sea life. What I second loved most was how clearly the captain spoke. She had an easily understood way of speaking, which is absolutely a must for someone narrating what you are looking at and seeing around you.

Was our first boat tour ever!
And let’s just say this crew made it the best one ever!! We were so pleased with the fast, friendly and efficient staff. They kept our drinks full and the laughs flowing. The captain Chris was so very educated about the seas and the safety of his passengers and co-workers. Felt so safe out on the water with this crew. The ladies Sophia, Hannah and Megan. Straight made our experience so delightful and delicious. From the great lunch to the frozen iceberg margaritas. We can’t complain. The cookies at the end were just the icing on the cake.
The Utah bros will be back! ✊?

If you are a wildlife lover or birdwatcher I highly, highly recommend the 8 hour Northwestern Fjords tour with Captain Mark. He has a great eye to spot and identify birds and sea mammals and shares interesting information about them all too. He went out of his way to show us so much and got us up close to things too. We were super lucky and actually saw three different types of whales and lots of them. Fin whales, killer whales and humpbacks, Dall porpoises, sea otters, stellar Sea Lions and seals, plus many, many different birds. I added eight new birds to my life list on this tour. The glacier itself was absolutely breathtaking and we spent a good 20-30 minutes in front of it. It calved several times. We had a nice calm day so it wasn't rough at all. The food served was all good, too. It's worth every penny. If I'm ever able to do another boat tour out of Seward I think I would have to do this exact one again as I'm afraid I'd be disappointed with any others after experiencing the best.

Our crew was absolutely PHENOMENAL! Shout out to Bobby, Logan, Megan, and captain Emma frank absolutely amazing trip! We did the standard National Park tour on an unusually beautiful September day. The captain took us to Northwestern Glacier and it was stunning to be so close to a calving glacier! We saw tons of wildlife including, but not limited to, harbor seals, steller sea lions, bald eagles, humpback whales, coastal mountain goats, sea otters, and more! The boat was comfortable and the lunch was tasty! There were other snacks and drinks available for purchase- including margaritas made from glacier ice! The crew was entertaining and the captain had a great sense of humor! We felt safe the entire time! We highly recommend booking!

I would give this 10 stars if I could. One of the best days of my life! We saw so much wildlife- orcas, humpback whales, sea lions, sea otters, harbor seals, puffins! And the glacier was absolutely breathtaking! It’s worth it for the glacier even if you don’t see wildlife but the wildlife was an amazing bonus. We did the 6 hr tour with lunch included. Plus they give you a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie near the end. The captain and crew did a great job pointing out wildlife, points of interest and giving some history. It was cold (upper 30’s/low 40’s) on the deck even on a hot summer day in July so make sure to bring warm clothes. I had 2 coats on, gloves, sunglasses, wool socks, and sturdy shoes (since the boat rocks a bit from time to time). I brought a rain jacket too but didn’t need it that day. Hold on to the railing when you walk around. Definitely try your best to get a table inside and up top is better if you can. Bring your own drinks and snacks. They do sell all kinds of drinks and beers, and snacks, too. And definitely bring binoculars!

We had a great time on the Orca Explorer. Captain and crew were friendly, helpful and well informed. The lunch was a chicken wrap and there were vegetarian and gluten free options. At the end there were fresh baked chocolate cookies! Drinks and other snacks were available.
We saw a huge calving at the Aialik glacier, rafts of otters, jellyfish, seals, sea lions, dolphins and puffins. No whales (it is very late in the season), but the Captain did look at several places for us. She was also great at positioning the boat for good views of all the creatures we did see.
