We hired Kit as a pianist for our small, 40 person ceremony/reception, and he put on an unbelievably amazing performance! He learned several new songs specifically for our event, and he absolutely nailed the sound we were going for. All we had to do was ask, and Kit was responsive to our needs. He was on-time, courteous, and seemed to truly enjoy his work.

Kit sang and played piano for our wedding mass, played piano for our cocktail hour at our outdoor reception site, and was the DJ for the remainder of our reception. Kit persevered through a power outage during his set up time, heavy winds in the outdoor site, and having enough equipment for three different set ups.

Kit was very careful to meet with me beforehand and email back and forth with me so he understood our timeline, the vibe we wanted, the specific music we wanted, etc. We even shared google docs.

I was very impressed by Kit's ability to be flexible on my wedding day and move with the chaos. He did a wonderful job and we demanded a lot from him! He is a fantastic pianist and singer and was a great DJ for our dancing crowd.

Our wedding was cancelled due to COVID, so we did not actually get to see Kit in action... HOWEVER, we've had countless email exchanges with him over the last year and can say he is an absolute gem. He's super responsive, we felt that he genuinely cared about making our event special, and he was always very accommodating and flexible. This kind of quick communication and thoughtful care is rare, and it made such a difference in easing our wedding planning stress. We wholeheartedly recommend Kit for any event.

Best combo musician/DJ in the Northwest!

I was especially nervous about coordinating the music for our ceremony and reception, because the quality of the music can really make or break a celebration. But after one meeting with Kit, I knew our wedding was in good hands. Kit took all of our suggestions for mass music, cocktail hour piano arrangements and DJ reception set, and made them even better. Everyone was blown away by his singing/piano playing during the ceremony and the dance floor was full all night. On top of that, Kit is just a generally kind, humble and fun person to work with. There are zero regrets here! We booked Kit to play the piano during our cocktail hour and then DJ/emcee during our reception. He was professional, fun, and very easy to work with. He had a great system set up to make sure that all of our song requests were played. I had MULTIPLE people comment during the wedding about how he was a great find, the best emcee they've ever heard at a wedding, etc. I'm pretty sure one of our guests was trying to book him for their daughter's wedding, before our reception was even over, because they loved him that much! Hiring Kit was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

Kit played piano during a memorial service for my father at Skamania Lodge. He also provided piano and vocal accompaniment to my niece as she sang a song during the service. And afterward, played piano throughout the reception. Kit is a talented musician and very easy to work with. He arrived early to the event to rehearse with my niece and she thoroughly enjoyed working with him. Kit's playing throughout the event, and his accompaniment of my niece as she sang her song, was perfect. Or as my niece put it afterward: "Kit is amazing!" My family and I really appreciate the extra effort Kit made to make this important event special for us. He is a complete professional, very talented, and I would definitely turn to him again to handle the music for an event. Recommend him very highly!

Kit Taylor is an amazingly talented musician and accompanist, and I am honored to endorse him and this business, although my own wedding took place too early for him to attend. I have, however, watched and listened to his musicianship for several years, and I am truly amazed by his talent.
If Kit plays your wedding or reception, you are getting one of the best. Period.
