Our Santa Fe wedding was absolutely perfect and it is all thanks to Courtney and her exceptional work in helping us plan our wedding for the past year. She is both a calming presence and doesn't miss a detail, two qualities which are rare to find together in one person.

We were working with a somewhat non-traditional wedding venue that required a more DIY approach in bringing together a lot of different vendors and Courtney did not shy away from any challenges thrown our way.

Everything went off without a hitch and the wedding proved to be the most amazing day of our lives. This is completely to the credit of Courtney and her team - hiring La Luz was the best decision we made besides getting married itself!

Hiring La Luz and Shelby as our wedding planner/coordinator was truly the best decision we made for our wedding. We did Month+ wedding planning with La Luz and Shelby and we say that our one regret of wedding planning was not hiring Shelby to help us plan the whole thing! She is so organized and so on top of everything that it was a breath of fresh air when she took over 8 weeks out from our wedding. I can’t say enough good things about La Luz. Courtney and Shelby are true masters of event production, handling even the most precise details that you’d never think of! Their process is thorough and foolproof.
We had originally worked with Courtney to plan a wedding in NM, but after getting pretty far through the process, we decided to completely switch gears and go destination!
Courtney made the entire transition possible through hours of emails and WhatsApp messages to potential vendors in Merida, Mexico. She tracked down all the vendors we ended up working with, each of whom provided outstanding service.
Courtney kept us on track throughout the entire planning and execution process.

Shelby and team are phenomenal in every way! We unfortunately had a bit of a dilemma with our initial caterer, Shelby promptly found us a new a new caterer and turned a bad situation into a great one. Shelby was attentive and kind, which are attributes that we truly value. We don’t plan on getting married ever again, but if we did, she would be our first choice. Thank you, Shelby, for being a ray of sunshine and calming some of the storms!

Oh my, I’m not even sure where to begin. To say Courtney and Shelby made our craziest dreams come true is both hyperbole, and accurate. My wife and I approached La Luz with a wedding weekend — a luxury, multi-day event with many twists and turns for our guests. We got to treat everyone with many surprises at the Four Seasons in Santa Fe, all brought to life by La Luz — from salsa and margarita icebreaker competitions, to friend swap events, to a reception twist where everyone had to look under their seat; Courtney and Shelby brought all of it to life. But the biggest surprise for us was how close of friends they became. Working with them was like working with your best, most organized, prompt, and ‘we’ll make it happen’ friends. They helped us through every detail, and crisis (like the wedding dress getting stained 5 days before the big day!). I can’t praise this group enough, and am ready to have them plan more than just our wedding!
