My husband and I did the sunset ride for our anniversary-and it was amazing! Our pilot, I believe his name was Jake, and the team were so kind and so efficient. Jake was very conscious of where we were, and safety was definitely a priority. He pointed out landmarks on our journey and was so interactive. Everyone had such a great time. We would highly recommend anyone visiting the Lancaster area to make this part of their trip!

My husband and I had originally booked a sunset flight for 9/18/2020. Due to cancelations on account of bad weather and the fact that we don't live in the area, it took 10 tries to finally get our flight. Believe us when we say it, the trip was worth the wait! We never gave up on them or Mother Nature, because we had a gorgeous sunrise flight on Saturday, 8/24/24! Our pilot, Jake, and his crew, were amazing and very professional. There was a 91 year old gentleman and his granddaughter with us, and they made sure he got in and out of the basket safely. Safely was beyond their top priority. The views of the Amish farmland were phenomenal. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

What an extraordinary experience we had with this team! The balloon ride is something indescribable; and our pilot, Ken, has a way to not only place flying & safety 1st, but also share so much about what's in sight. He even gave us some time to enjoy a little peaceful quiet. That evening something more was afoot as we experienced a slow U Turn (over 10 -15 minutes) as the wind surprisingly pointed us back to a young boy (I had my eye on, who was on lifetime crutches). He had crossed several fields to follow us. We landed near him; and (after family permission) were able to bring this 9-year old & his younger sister into the basket for a little ride 1-2 feet off the ground. This team considers everyone and is extremely respectful of the Amish community.

Well we had a phenomenal experience with Neal as our pilot using Brookside Ballooning through Lancaster balloons!

Our original flight was cancelled due to weather, and our second flight, but we got out on the third flight! This seems to happen pretty regularly, and we live in a place that rains a lot so makes sense. Neal was amazingly responsive, called to let us know about the forecast, day before and day of, and then we emailed his wife to rebook and they made it super easy, even having to do it a few times. Never had any trouble getting ahold of them.

We left from Peddlers Village, flew for an hour, came back and had a toast and snacks together, it was honestly a dream come true, once in a lifetime experience. Such a beautiful ride.

Not sure about the many reviews saying this is a scam, but at least with our pilot, we had an amazing experience and they communicated so well.

We had a very enjoyable evening flight. Two prior flights were canceled due to weather. It was well worth the wait. We were blessed with a beautiful evening. All of the crew were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. We landed in an Amish farm field. A whole group of Amish folks young and old came out to see us. A bunch of the young ones helped tether and gather up the balloon. Overall, it was quite an experience ! I would love to go up again!

Really nice experience! Our pilot was excellent, really knew his stuff and the flight experience was excellent! Only complaint would be the price, but as it’s about the same as every other hot air balloon place I could find I really can’t complain too much.

From planning the rode to the ride itself, the entire staff made the process super easy and made us feel very comfortable. I did a private ride for a proposal and everyone did fantastic with helping keeping the entire event incognito! I highly recommend booking a trip for a special event, or just a casual ride!

I can't say enough about what a great experience we had. We did the morning flight, and although I was nervous, our pilot and crew put me immediately at ease. What an experience! Beautiful.scenery, peaceful and tranquil. I can't wait to book it again!
