Little Bear was absolutely amazing!! We had a blast playing corn hole, exploring the trails, and, at night, the place turned magical with the tent lights and the stars above. It was wonderfully private, and our fur baby had an incredible time too. A perfect 10 out of 10 experience! Thank you for sharing this fantastic place with us and creating such wonderful memories.

Magical! 1000% Recommend!!

On October 14th 2023, my husband and I got married in front of our family and friends at Laurel Oaks Estate. It was the most incredible day, and I could not have asked for better hosts than Krystl & Pete.

The open space, the lush tree-line, the pergola, and the pond created a beautiful setting and backdrop for an outdoor wedding. The tent, tables, and chairs they provided were bright and clean. We were given total freedom when it came to decorating & food/bar vendors. Which is hard to come by in this area. This allowed us to have a wedding that was US, and I cannot be more thankful for that alone!

From the day of booking to the day of our wedding, Krystl was very prompt and attentive with her responses in answering any questions we had through out our planning process, which eased any worries that arose. She also created a fun and lovely photo wall for our reception that was a total hit for our guests. Pete went above and beyond helping to set up our reception area. I can go on and on. They are absolutely wonderful hosts.

The air bnbs they have built in the back of their property are phenomenal and one of a kind. The cabin was included in the package we purchased, and it was perfect for me (the bride) and my ladies to get ready in. We rented the others for our close friends and family to stay in the night of our wedding. I highly recommend doing that as well!

Big Bear glamping site at Laurel Oaks Estate is an experience you don't want to miss! Secluded, peaceful, and one of a kind, with an amazing host that responds to questions and concerns quickly and ensures their guests satisfaction.
You'll even enjoy taking a shower with a small family of cute little tree frogs and possibly a lizard! ? ?
We had to leave a day early because of the extreme summer heat, but are definitely coming back during the colder months to enjoy what Big Bear truly has to offer.
Although there's an AC, it's still a tent in 100+ degree weather. However, as an adult, I could have stayed and been fine. We left early because my son was complaining about the heat. So, I believe you will still enjoy it during the summer months if you can handle a little warmth. It did get pretty chilly at night though!
You can also check out their other glamping spots, one being a horse trailer made a super cute camper! That'd be perfect for the summer ❤️

We had a fantastic glamping experience at Laurel Oaks Estate. The property is beautiful, full of wildlife, and away from the crowds at typical parks and campgrounds. It honestly felt like we were the only ones there. The sites are well maintained, clean, and full of amenities. What really tops off the experience is the attentive hosts, who even came by with a couple of their baby bunnies for my kids to pet. We would definitely recommend Laurel Oaks Estate to others who want the camping experience but with flush toilets, a real bed, and evening air conditioning.

Laurel Oaks Estate was a beautiful establishment for hosting a weekend getaway. The owners were very attentive to our questions and messages, considerate, and overall very pleasant to work with. The residence(s) all were a perfect amount of solitude, tucked away in their own niche of nature, helping step away from the daily hustle and chaos. I will hopefully be back and will recommend to anyone in the future!

AMAZING VENUE!! Our sons wedding was supposed to be in Asheville NC, however hurricane Helene had other plans. We had to pivot and relocate the wedding for the same day in 2.5 weeks. Lucky for us Laurel Oaks Estates was available!!! From the first conversation until we drove out the night of the wedding, the entire process was seamless. Krystl and Pete were amazing and made sure that every detail was spot on! The setting is incredible from the Arch to the tent to the pond! If you are looking for a wedding venue with style, class and stunning environment, Laurel Oaks Estate is your venue!!!!!

The most beautiful property ? and the sweetest, most amazing host. This glamping tent was the perfect getaway for my husband and I, and our daughters. The setting allowed us to connect with nature while enjoying some modern comforts. The fire pit was great for cozy evenings, and the hammock was ideal for relaxing under the stars. Plus, having air conditioning made our stay even more comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Big Bear tent and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape?

Absolutely an amazing place! The property is well taken care of and Very Clean! No garbage anywhere. Well organized and has everything you need and then some. Krystl was very nice, sweet and extremely responsive (which is awesome) I will definitely come back to this spot from now on! My two boys (15 and 12) had a great time and loved it as well! Absolutely gorgeous! Easy 5 out of 5 stars!
