Being from the DC area and trying to plan a wedding in New Orleans…never going to New Orleans..we had to put all faith in Delia and LCD events. They came through in a big way wedding day! Delia and her team were instrumental in making our wedding day Epic. Every vendor Delia suggested and we hired were top tier at their respective craft! On wedding day not only did we get what we asked for , but Delia was able to get us a few things that we thought we couldn’t have! Delia made sure that on our special day me and my wife wanted for nothing and everything ran smoothly! Truly happy with the product we received from Delia and her team!

This event planning company is highly unprofessional and lacks attention to detail. From the start, it was clear that they do not have strong vendor relationships, limiting options and flexibility. The owner gives the impression of listening to client needs but ultimately disregards input and proceeds with her own preferences, regardless of the client’s vision.

Their ability to manage events beyond 50 people is severely lacking, and even with smaller gatherings, their inexperience is evident. Poor communication, disorganization, and a failure to execute basic event logistics make working with this company frustrating and disappointing. If you're looking for a seamless and well-coordinated event, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Where can I start Delia is phenomenal! From the beginning until the very end she went above and beyond not only for myself and my husband but for our guest as well. She solved problems without even worrying us with them. She delivered the design of my dreams. Delia was there to answer any questions we had no matter what time of day it was. She made the whole wedding experience seamless all while living in Seattle and planning a wedding in New Orleans. If I had to do it all again I would definitely book LCD events for any event that I may have.

She has well-established relationships with all of the top NOLA wedding vendors, and helps us select the best MUA, photographer, videographer, florist, chair/lounge rental company, etc. She also knew exactly how to talk me off the edge during my “bride moments.”

We purchased the month of/day of package, but Delia was available whenever I needed her (even if it was 6 months before her services were actually supposed to begin). Our wedding day was a fairytale. Let me begin by saying that Delia is a PHENOMENAL wedding planner. I sought her out waaaayyy before I was even engaged. I encountered her at a close friend of mine wedding.
