Visited a few weeks ago with my mom and her friend. The location was fine, however, the insides do need a little updating. It's not run down, just a little outdated. The front desk was nice. I did appreciate that we got our deposit back right away instead of having to wait a few days for it as most hotels/motels make you wait. There's also a bus stop that's about a 4 minute walk away so if you need transportation, that's a plus as well. The hair dryer in our room was broken so we couldn't dry our hair but everything else was fine.

Cons: the parking lot looked a little sad & unkempt. The lobby was the same. The room had stained carpeting, soap scum in shower, holes in curtains & stains on the chair. The bathroom door had a 4 inch crack. The water pressure was bad. We had to sign several pages to check in. One of the pages said we gave police the right to search our room! Pros: The sheets were clean. No bugs. The bed was comfortable & after some effort, we got the air conditioner to work. Room price? As they say, you get what you pay for.

I stayed here from 8/31/23 to 9/5/23, room 143. I chose this place because of the price. Horrible decision. This place is uninhabitable.

German cockroaches, moldy carpet, sewer backup into the shower, unspeakable horrors behind the bedside table.

I made a reservation for 6 nights, but I checked out after 5 nights. I just couldn't stay another night in that room. I went up to the office to see about canceling my stay early, but the young lady at the front desk told me that they cannot issue a refund even though I am leaving early. She told me that I need to come back later to speak with a manager, and she declined to give me a contact phone number for a manager. I'm not able to return later. They just ate my $90. Whatever, too tired to care. I won't make that mistake again.

Have some self-respect. Pay the extra $30, and stay at the Holiday Inn across the river.

EDIT: Their response to this review is priceless, and frankly makes the whole stay worth it. As I stated in my review, I DID reach out to you for assistance. It seemed pretty clear to me that your staff was not interested in even acknowledging that there was an issue. "All you have to offer" is mold and German cockroaches. Never again.

Everything is gross!! Floor dirty and gross. Shower gross. Everything is gross. We would’ve been better off sleeping on a motel. Its a ripoff! The floors are full of hair. It stinks. Walls are dirty. Do not come! They also ask for cash deposit

STAY AWAY from this hotel. Run down and not well kept. Very Dirty. Moldy showers. Scratchy bed sheets and spring mattress. No breakfast. Waited 30min for someone to come to the front desk to check out so I could get my $60 deposit back. Once the representative came, he took my key, made me wait another 5min. to give me my money back while he examined my room. Needless to say I was late for work.

My first time going to this location. Nothing was said about a cash deposit fee that needed to be made(they asked for $60 (I now see on a review from 5 months ago their cash deposit was$50 wth?). I checked in late at night, it was an unexpected stay so I had no body wash or soap just a change of clothes.
I went to hop in the shower and there was no soap or any kind just a dispenser of shampoo
and conditioner not even soap at the sink for washing hands. I used the toilet once and the water wouldn't stop running and it didn't want to work after that
While I was standing there waiting to be checked in I was reading all the papers they have posted around. They don't do breakfast and can't have visitors.
They have a lot of rules. For people that have to pay to stair to stay the night there, you can't have any visitors or guests or you'll be asked to leave and not get any money back. You can't even switch rooms if you wanted to.
Needless to say I checked in at 9pm and I left before midnight. The girl says that she needs to check the room, it'll take her 2 minutes. She returns back and says "the toilet isn't working" I said yeah. I flushed it and it hasn't stopped running since. She paced back and forth a couple times and says "ok but the toilet isn't flushing".
What am I supposed to do about that? You put me in the room I was barely in there for 3 hrs. It was like she didn't want to give me my "cash deposit" back.

It was just a really bad experience. Being my first time there thinking a hotel wouldn't have these kind of issues, and the site saying there's no refunds was very disappointing.

Looking threw the comments of this review, I hope more people look at the reviews and choose to not attend this location.
