Had the pleasure of working with Sarah St Clair for my Birthday Extravaganza and it was a wonderful experience! We had a total of 9 rooms booked at the Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo in Cancun. It was a beautiful resort and had a lot of activities for us during the week!

Sarah booked our rooms, transfers, flights, and even a sunset cruise! Communication was very easy and she was accessible to us before, during and even after the trip. We had some guests who had never been outside of the country before, but all of our questions were answered and gave us reassurance on this trip.

Will definitely be using her and Liberty Travel again for future adventures! Thank you!

I'd like to plan a vacation. Submitted an online inquiry Nov 18th to which I received auto reply saying I'd be contacted within 1 business day. I didn't receive a call so I called several times several different numbers. No one answered. Held as long as 12 minutes. So I booked an online appointment scheduled for 11 am today. It's 11:11 & I've yet to receive a call.

I was forced to use Liberty because I had gift cards that I received. They are the worst. They make constant mistakes, do not know certain things, etc. When using a travel agent, you would think they would do everything for you without having to worry about anything. The rep I had didn't know anything and I had to keep questioning her about things because I knew my info was right but hers were wrong. I had to take several trips through Liberty due to these gift cards we had gotten through work. You are better off getting a dart board and throwing darts and using that to plan your vacation than these people. DO NOT USE THEM. They do not care either.

I was SO skeptical using a Travel agency. I figured, why would anyone need one? Liberty Travel was fantastic and made our trip to Cancun effortless. Nicole was amazing making sure she walked us through the whole trip, and was even available if there were any emergencies. We'll be planning next years vacations with them in the next month or so.

We booked through Jen Melchiorre. We have used her exclusively for years. She is the best. She always goes above and beyond for her clients. I can’t say enough good things about her.

If you are traveling in a group, we strongly advise against using Sara St Clair. It has been nearly two months since our trip, and she has yet to send an apology for the outcome of our vacation.

Our trip had been planned months in advance to celebrate my best friend's graduation. Imagine our shock after traveling since 8 a.m., arriving at our hotel, and almost being separated because the hotel we had booked for months had "run out of rooms." Half of our party was promised an "upgraded hotel" 15 minutes away from the remaining group. The only way we could stay together was by paying for a cab on the days the hotel allowed their sister properties to come over for the parties. You would think that by using a travel agent, she would have confirmed with the hotel that they had rooms for us. When we called the emergency number, we were told there was nothing that could be done as we were listed as pairs instead of a group.

We informed the hotel staff at RIU BAMBU that we had already booked excursions for the following day and that this late change would impact our ability to get refunded, according to Viator's policy. Eventually, a staff member agreed that we could leave as a group, which meant the two members who were already in their room had to repack their bags and come back downstairs. We then had to wait another hour to get picked up. We arrived at the first hotel at 3:20 p.m. and didn't reach the next hotel until 5:45 p.m.

While the staff at the new hotel, RIU REPUBLICA, were kind, we encountered several issues at the resort. We received stained yellow towels and had to go downstairs to get cleaner ones. There were ants on the bathroom and bedroom floors, which eventually got into my bed. One couple's fan was broken, and two days later, their AC also broke. They complained to the staff, who did fix the AC. The resort kept the doors open, leading to an influx of gnats, flies, and even a cockroach in the bread by the end of the trip. We spent most of our time off the resort trying to find a place to eat.

While we understand that many of these issues were beyond Sara’s control, it was her responses that were particularly concerning. We informed her of the hotel change and room differences, and that we had to plead with the hotel staff to allow us to stay together, as it was our first time in a foreign country, we had no service or means of communication, and we had paid to be on the same resort with excursions picking us up. Her response was, "Just as a quick reminder—when you booked, I did mention that begging is not something we can confirm, but only request with the hotel. So there is no way of guaranteeing you all would have had King beds even if you were at the Bambu."

Our concerns were much more than just the type of room we paid for but did not receive, but about being separated, not staying at the location we chose according to our itinerary, and dealing with cleanliness issues at the new hotel. She informed us that our airport transfer pick-up time at the new hotel would be at 8 AM, when in reality it was 10 AM. She claimed she would keep us updated after speaking to her supervisor but never responded. I have shared all communications and emails with higher-ups and am willing to share them here if needed. While I doubt Sara will be terminated, I believe it is crucial for others to be informed when choosing someone they trust for a positive first international experience. Sara failed to provide that and did not have enough heart to apologize. I can't imagine how someone would think that it's okay to talk to us so condescending after the experience we had. We received more empathy from the higher-ups who were very apologetic on her behalf. You are better off doing the research on your own and staying in an Airbnb where you will be GUARANTEED to have your group together because apparently, Liberty Travel can't guarantee that your group will be on the same resort despite paying thousands of dollars. This experience has completely turned us away from using a travel agency and resorts.

I used Liberty a few years ago, outstanding experience, ( prior to COVID). This time around, HORRIBLE experience. The agent, could not spell the name of my destination, (Belize). A word that should not have been that difficult. She informed me that this was not a great destination. She offered a few other places to visit, but our family had already been to these places.
I'm going to shorten this. The closure of local sites, has been a disaster. I truly, loved the central city Philadelphia location and Plymouth Meeting site. I went to visit the Cherry Hill location and felt like an outcast. The customer service was poor and the employees, made me feel like they'd rather be anywhere but there.
If I could rate my experience a zero, I would!

I had the pleasure of working with Sarah St. Clair. I originally booked a trip with her through my relatives but couldn’t make that trip and used the deposit to transfer over to be used for my honeymoon. St. Clair made that process fairly easy. She was responsive, patient and understanding. My wife and I were thoroughly pleased with our honeymoon at El dorado seaside suites. We will be booking with her again
