Lorena’s is a spectacular venue. We could not have asked for a better reception last night. All the attention to detail is most memorable.

We had our 2 kids Baptism Party here at Lorena’s Banquet, and have to say it was awesome service, Employees were great , food was great , everything over all was great . Took the left over food of the guest that didn’t make it . Turn out well after all .

We rented the small hall for my daughters sweet 16 on 8/7/21. We worked with Mr. Jose from the hall. The hall itself is very nice and modern. Unfortunately we had a handful of issues that the staff was unwilling to address. There was a lack of refilling water and soda to the tables in a timely, friendly, and professional manner. 2 of our guests had found an insect in their food, one being a minor. When we approached the staff with the issue and showed what was found, the staff accused the young girl of planting the roach in the food. After arguing with the staff, Jose the manager did offer an apology and said that he would happily check the remainder of the food and that he would comp us for the inconvenience by the end of the night. When the party was over and we approached him to see what arrangements we would come to, he was unwilling to talk to us only saying that things happen and their was nothing he could do. This literally left us with a bad taste in our mouths. Without doubt the venue is beautiful but the staff and service is dreadful.

I am the owner of Hodson Event Entertainment L.L.C. I performed a Hispanic wedding of 250 guests here yesterday.
The Food was great. The venue is clean and classy. The staff is very accommodating & kind. Guests mentioned the bar service was quick. As a professional MC/DJ it is my job to keep the flow of formalities. The venue has zero issues helping me keep things moving along in sync with the itinerary. It's not often I see food served to THAT MANY guests in such a timely manner. Much appreciated.
I will 100% recommend Lorena's Banquets to any client of mine looking for an amazing venue.

Over priced & overrated!! The food was horrible! Mashed potatoes were dry & thick. Green beans were crunchy. Chicken very dry & Customer service was trash! The owners daughter attitude wasn’t welcoming, very impatient! I would give this place 2/10 & the 2 is only for hall decor.. & the decoration is not included they only offer color napkins center piece and white table cloths…

I don’t even know where to begin. This was the absolute worse experience I have ever had with a venue. The lies, disrespect and lack of regard for our event was countless. The venue space is beautiful but overall the worse customer service. They act friendly and flexible in the beginning but it’s all just one big act and they chose the day of our event to show their true colors.

We have been working with Fatima to coordinate the details for our wedding. Upon booking, we had agreed for a general range of time for our event, and that the final timing of the events would be decided at a later date. About two weeks prior to our event, Fatima reached out to us and we were able to confirm that the amount would start from 2 PM until about seven 8 PM which she confirmed Wouldn’t be an issue. Before booking we also confirmed that we would be able to purchase our own drinks for the event.

The day of the event was hell dealing with management. The gave us issues with arranging our food into takeout containers for our guest even after confirming on multiple occasions that this would be okay.

Fatima’s dad was the absolute worse to deal with. He acted like he a friendly individual prior to booking and showed his true colors the day of the event. He was yelling at my coordinators, telling them we weren’t able to bring drinks and just overall just so so rude and deceitful. He told us our event had to end at 5 pm after re confirming with Fatima that the event would end at 8pm. He started trying to shut down the DJ at 6pm.

The security was the worse. Yelling at my guest and rushing us out about about 6:30 pm.

At the end of the event, I pulled both Fatima and her dad to the side to talk about how horrible their customer service was and all they did was lie, lie and LIEEEE. I hate to make this a race issue but that’s what it felt like. Hear me clearly find somewhere else for your event. These people are crooks and liars. Ugh words fail me to describe how horrible they were.
