Horrible Experience - Dirty and Uncomfortable**

I had a terrible experience at this motel. The room was not clean, and I spent the entire night scratching my skin. Everything was dirty and poorly maintained. I had rented the room for a week but could only tolerate staying for three nights due to the poor conditions. I requested a refund for the remaining nights, but the management refused. I strongly advise against staying here!

I stayed at this motel for 6 nights for holiday with family from out of state. The motel was very close to my sister’s house. I only needed the room to sleep. I should have read the reviews before I made my reservation because I would’ve paid a few more bucks for a better place. At least a place which provided hand soap and towel racks. Yes, there were no places to hang a towel.

I stayed in room #20 which I guess was for their longer term guests. The room was dreary and they didn’t clean the room or make my bed the whole time I was there. I’m happy there was a refrigerator and a microwave though. I didn’t feel secure here. There was no secondary lock on the door.

The biggest issue was that they charged my debit card twice for the same payment. The clerk I talked to said he “heard” I was staying another 6 days which was bunk and I had to argue to get my card credited again. He acted like he didn’t care. Not only was my money taken almost right away from my account, I had to wait several days to get the money back into my account. I was still on vacation and forced to use my high interest credit cards to pay for everything waiting for my money to be credited.

Even with the proximity to my sister’s house, I will not be staying here again.

The place is not that bad overall, but I was in 2 rooms in the last 2 weeks and in both of them the A/C didn’t work. It’s just fan running and the A/C option even when it’s on does no more than extra noise !!! There’s no fun to stay in 79F inside the room and 86F outside!!!

I checked in at 430pm and I told the guy I was planning on leaving at 11pm! He charged me 80$ (10$ an hour) so he said, yet I was only staying 6.5 hours! Then when I asked to stay an hour longer he had me told that I had to pay 20$ more because the room I’m in #7 isn’t an overnight room! I’ve been coming here for years and NEVER had an issue with pricing or the miscommunication. The hotel isn’t the cleanest place but for the price you get what you get! Remember don’t pay for room #8 there’s bed bugs! I think I’ll contact my uncle (health inspector) in the morning and report this hotel since I will no longer be giving them my business!

The front desk woman was so nice and welcoming. Then we get to our room and it was clean, didnt smell like an ashtray(some motels do!) it smelled fresh. It was clean and best of all NO BUGS. My husband and I come to Chicago often for work and this will be our spot!

Terrible place. The Indian guy working here is very rude and unprofessional. He took my stuff out of my room when I was away, and kept it in his office! When I returned to find my stuff was gone; I asked what happened and he told me it was because I made a lot of noise, and he needed me to go. What? Even if I did make noise (which I don't recall making much) it's no justification to remove my stuff with your grimy hands. I should have sued, but I didn't want to go through the trouble. Awful experience, and an absolute lack for privacy, and etiquette.
