Got a plate with pierogies, haluski, and a cabbage roll. The pierogies were fine. The haluski and cabbage roll were both very cold in the center. The cabbage roll was also all pink on the inside. She swore it was just the sauce, but to me, pink + cold = inedible. I talked to her about it, and her response felt very much like "what do you want me to do about it." Much better food can be obtained elsewhere.

We first had this place when they were at northway center mall and had a food truck. They do have really good potato and cheese pierogies. So we decide to go down to their location in coraopolis. We got the pierogies and they were really good . But we also got a stuffed cabbage which I don't eat but she didn't like as much. Also got a steak hoagie which was made of steakums unfortunately I do not like them at all. We may go back for the pierogies again though

I was told these were the best pierogies in the area, and the person who told me was right. Even better than the pierogies was the haluski which was incredible and reminded me of my great aunt’s. You can also buy the pierogies frozen which I’m absolutely going to do to keep in the freezer for Steeler season. Stuffed cabbage was also awesome. Zero bad things to say about this place 5/5 no doubt about it.

Im glad I went, and will probably go back to try different menu items. I got cabbage rolls and potato/chs perogies. I found everything to be VERY salty. I like trying other family recipes, both were different than my family's.

The perogies seemed to be filled with sort of a salt&pepper whipped potato filling, which was different than my family's simply lumpy "smashed" potato and cheese filling. Their pot/chs was very flavorful, but salty. With less than half the salt, I'd buy them again.

The cabbage rolls are gigantic! Ha, I should have asked how big they were, I thought we were all using the same size cabbage! Haha. 3 of my family's rolls = 1 of Lviv's! Two nearly filled a lunchbox! Wow!
The tomato sauce was more than the few stewed tomatoes in the pot that I'm used to. Lviv's sauce was more like a puree and reminded me of pizza sauce in texture and flavor. There was some good flavor, but so salty I couldnt eat much. The cabbage ribs were hard to cut through, but the leaves were definitely cooked through. The meat filling seemed to be pureed smooth, which is very unusual to me. When I cut open the cabbage, the meat didnt hold its shape at all. My family uses ground meat and rice, but we handle it very little so its not smooth and holds together like a meatball. Because of all the excess salt, I can't describe the filling flavor. The texture was not for me. I dont think I'd buy these again... but...

I look forward to trying some fruit filled perogies, the pizza, and maybe a cannolo!

The first picture is my friends stuffed cabbage which is cooked the second picture is mine obviously still raw I told the owner she told me it was the sauce wouldn't even give me a different one and was very rude about the whole situation. everything is mushy and literally microwaved i watched her microwave everything we ordered. My friend and I took 2 bites and left our food on the table and walked out. Do not recommend at all. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

Absolutely wonderful greasy buttery goodness! The pierogies were tender and excellent. Highly recommend.

The owner is very nice, the stuffed cabbage was mostly rice and very salty and had tough cabbage, the pierogi's were somewhat flavorless and the haluski was just not good. I usually go to Pierogi's Plus in the rocks but thought I would try this one, It was a mistake. If you want the best pierogi in the burgh go to the rocks.

This place is the best. I haven't had pierogies that tasted like my grandma's since she passed. So trust: This place is legit if you are looking for authentic pierogies. I purchase from her every holiday and the family loves it. The owner is a sweet woman, too. Not understanding the snobby reviews here - she certainly doesn't deserve the rudeness.
