If you like poor service and roaches, this is the place for you. Had several incidents on my recent weekend visit.
1. Reservation for room with king size bed was cancelled without my knowledge, given room with (2) queen beds instead.
2. Lamp between beds had an electrical short causing light not to work for a day and then it suddenly came on in the afternoon without being touched.
3. Room was not cleaned up by housekeeping because I was in the room. They said they would come back later but never made it.
4. Sat on toilet in the bathroom late Saturday night and it suddenly fell sideways onto the floor with water coming out of the tank. Cut my hand while trying to upright the broken toilet and tank. Room suddenly became invaded with cockroaches that were under the toilet.
5. Moved to another room which happened to have a king size bed which I originally had reserved but was told that reservation had been cancelled and king size beds were not available.
6. Owner refuses to call me or answer the phone when I call, probably has caller ID.
Do not ignore bad reviews, they are probably right!!

Decent hotel. My kinky compliant is that the bedspread is paper thin so you’ll either freeze or burn up depending on what the ac does. Every room should have a blanket AND a comforter or bedspread. There’s also a drop ceiling above the shower which makes no sense since the rooms are remodeled. The tiles are stained. They could also install gutters. The guy next door parked with his hood under the roof so all you heard was rain belting his hood.

My door was kicked in and my purse was stolen while i was out of the room. it took the hotel owner over an hour to get there and he wasnt the least bit concerned with what had happened.. He told me he had a great surveillance system but didnt have time to watch it for me and that what had happened wasnt his problem.. This all after i had been staying there off and on for over 3 months!! I was banned and he tried to charge my credit cards for the damage.. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL... So definitely dont stay here, im assuming hes got money on his mind a little more than satisfying his customers!!

We got what we expected in a 2-star. Room was clean, though a bit dated. But the Desk Clerk was most cordial -- and explained that they were still renovating. The Breakfast Attendant was quite accommodating.

The night that I spent at this hotel was nothing special. There really isn't much at all that is special about this hotel. It's just a hotel. That is all. Nothing more, nothing less. However on the flip side there is nothing to complain about either. The only thing that I could possibly complain about is that the water pressure in the shower could have been a little better. That's the only down side that I found while at this hotel. Nothing great, nothing bad. Just okay.

AVOID! At a minimum, you would expect that a hotel would have clean beds. Unfortunately, that is not the case at this property.
I booked 13 rooms for group travel at this location and 2 rooms (plus a complimentary room where guests were moved) had bed bugs. THREE of 14 rooms had bed bugs. Additionally, one week later, a guest who stayed is being treated for lice. Of course, I can not confirm that is a result of this particular stay, but you can draw your own conclusion.
In a small town, this property was all that was available at my late booking time. However, if I could have a redo I would have stayed in Texarkana.

The staff was nice, the room was clean (ish). We came into town to work. Was woken up at 2am by music blarring. People constantly coming and going. Then, there was about 5 or 6 people outside from 2:30am until 4:50am. They were loud and laughing and cussing. (Plus the constant cars that I believe were going to the same room. There was talk about prostitution and robbing. I was frightened. The only reason I gave the one star was the kind woman at the desk. Other than that I do not recommend to anyone. Paid too much for that mess. We should have paid the extra money and go somewhere safe.

We found bedbugs on the bed and wasn't even given a partial refund on the room. Was there 25 minutes in the lobby waiting to check in. Terrible experience!
