This stay was a last minute stop! Lobby was nice an appears to be renovated. Elevator carpet looks like it hasn’t seen a vacuum in a while. The entire long hallway to our room was the same! Drywall dust and pieces all down the hallway! I understand they can be remodeling but vacuuming should not be left for when it’s done!

He wanted to charge me 30$ for coming in for early check in, even though thats supposed to be the perks of being a choice member rewards member. The room I booked and paid more for was not available, so I paid a higher price for a regular room that was very small...he put us right across from where their doing construction so their was banging, and noise until almost 9 at night...he wouldnt give any of my money back even though he didnt give us the room we wanted, or booked...I booked it through price line, so they called, and tried to sort it out, needless to say, no accommodation for it! Lobby and Hallways filled with boxes cuz they are doing construction all through out the hotel ..when I went down to get coffee at 7am, it was cold, so it must have been from the night before...then I had the shower running, and steam was going out the door, and he tried to say we were smoking...stay was very unpleasant, we did not feel welcomed there, and my boyfriend is african american, any where he went in the lobby the owner followed him, and watched his every move ..treated very pourly ..I would not recommend this hotel to any one....

We stayed for four days. The unit was very nice and exceptionally clean on the surface. However, the backsplash in the kitchenette had stains on the wall and the bathroom sink was clean on top, but not on the sides. The bed was very comfortable, the shower felt great. One issue that you need to watch for. The floors are not carpeted and the chair at the table has wheels but not arm rests. It is very easy for the chair to roll out from under you. That could be a serious safety issue. Since you are so close to the highway, it is noisy because of the traffic. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Also, the vent cover in the bathroom ceiling would not stay up and someone had unplugged the fan. Although we were almost the only people there, the WIFI was not good, but the TV was.

Positive: Location Negative: Breakfast is very poor. The same thing every day, no white bread only wheat, and the hard boiled eggs were frozen then thawed out that makes them Soggy. Breakfast needs to be improved.

BEWARE.
Dirty room, no hot water and awful staff. I received a call on the room phone at 7:45AM demanding that I come to the front desk with my credit card. My room was already fully paid for and I had not incurred any additional charges. When I questioned why I needed to come down with my credit card the clerk became more instant and aggressive. I hung up and he proceeded to call back - I did not pick up. As a woman traveling alone, I was very uncomfortable and felt unsafe. I left as soon as I could pack up my things. I travel often for business and have never experienced a situation like this one.

Made a reservation, and then our home was damaged by a major storm. I called the hotel to ask for a delay (due to emergency clean up at our home), and they were very unwilling to work with us. The person with whom I spoke was quite unfriendly and rigid. I do not recommend this hotel

Though the price was good the room was too packed with extended stay furniture. The couch and foot stool were stained. There was dirt in the corner of the kitchen area. The shelves were dusty. The shower had a wiggly looking thing by the sliding door. The hallways were stained. The stair well was marked. The exterior door was propped open. Staff were lounging in the common area.

I came to the area for work and had been in a couple of hotels. The MainStay in Clarion has welcoming staff and there is a stove top and full size fridge In the rooms. The beds are soft and the pillows are comfortable. Would recommend to others as a place to stay.
