TLDR: I would give this place 10/10 stars if I could. This lovely b&b is gorgeous, the food is delicious, and the staff are unbelievably kind and helpful. You couldn’t ask for more ❤️

We found the Mansion at Bald Hill by chance, I am so incredibly happy that we did. From the moment we drove up, we were in love with the grounds and the overall look of the house. After seeing the beautiful outside, we had high expectations for what our room would be like. And it certainly delivered! We had the Mrs. Bowen room, which was jaw-droppingly spacious and grand. Even the bathroom felt fancy!

On top of that, the food was to die for. Breakfast is included with the room, and that is a STEAL because it felt like we were at a 5 star restaurant. Our breakfast featured homemade cinnamon French toast, fresh berries, and a tasty little parfait. We were also lucky enough to arrive in time for dinner, which was amazing as well. It was nearly impossible to pick from the menu- so make sure you come hungry to take full advantage! Especially since the meal comes with bread and delicious homemade butter. You’ll need as much room in your stomach as possible!

But the best part of our stay was the staff. Just saying they were kind is an understatement. Every single person who we encountered was like experiencing a master class in hospitality. I don’t think I have ever met a group of people as courteous and genuine as the staff here! And we have to give a special shout out to Joel, who, when we had an issue in the middle of the night, was over in less than 10 minutes to help.

This is truly a spectacular place and a must stay if you are in the area ❤️

Our family has come to celebrate every big milestone at the Mansion. There is just no where better in the area. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is impeccable (especially if you have a big function in the function area), the staff are friendly and hard working and the owner goes out of his way to make sure guests are happy and enjoying themselves. I can't say enough about the establishment, people who work, manage and own the mansion and the food! Do not hesitate to book your big family functions here. You will not regret it!

We celebrated my Mother's 90th birthday at the restaurant and were extremely pleased. Janet, the Event Coordinator, was friendly and very helpful leading up to the event. The waitstaff was excellent and the food was delicious. There were 23 of us from four generations and everyone talked about how much they enjoyed the experience. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

We had a small baby shower here. The service was okay. At the end when we paid we were tipping and the server came over and tried to dictate what she should be tipped when we were already tipping her. I understand letting us know that since it was a big party the tip wasn’t included but when she said we just leave it blank and she will just run a 20% tip I have never felt so disrespected. I pride myself on being a good tipper but to have someone request what they think they deserve didn’t feel right to me. I’ve worked in the service industry as well and I’ve never once asked someone for the tip I want. We won’t be back.

Janet and the team had great service, the food was delicious, and the inn and staff were absolutely wonderful to interact with. The owner even sat with my grandmother and cousins for quite a while the day after the wedding at breakfast to chat. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect for our intimate ceremony, though they set up too many chairs for the number of guests we had, which looks a bit funny in photos and videos. We had discussed an outdoor bar for beer and wine for cocktail hour since we didn’t want anyone in the reception area until the reception began, but unfortunately, that bar was not set up and our guests spent cocktail hour in the ballroom rather than on the patio. This wasn’t a fatal blow to the event, but a mistake in the oversight. That said, we highly recommend this as a venue!

Note that we went to the restaurant here, and not the hotel proper. The restaurant was quint and very nice. Very quiet. There are several rooms with tall ceilings joined together and helps to keep the noise down. Service was very good as was the food.

A beautiful venue with consistently delicious food. Though I have never stayed overnight, I have enjoyed their dining services. The portions are a great size for an upscale venue, and the service has always been wonderful. I highly recommend for any special occasion or when you feel like treating yourself to an incredible dining experience.
