We went for a monthly country dinner, they only allow for 30 reservations. Dress is business casual, fabulous Jefferson punch with a kick upon arrival 😉 & a pianist setting the mood! We received tours of the grounds - which were beautiful; however, there is still quite a bit to maintain & clean up.
Then dinner...fresh salad, pan fried chicken, REAL mashed potatoes with skillet gravy & asparagus with wine to drink. Followed by the most delightful bread pudding with a brandy sauce & coffee!

Atmosphere is a strong part of this experience. A plantation mansion originally constructed in 1888 and extensively restored was an amazing venue for a delicious meal. My salmon was delicious and the pecan pie was the best I've had outside of Mom's kitchen. Highly recommend.

Beau and Martha Ellen have a beautiful, welcoming home. We went for their Valentine's Dinner. They were so gracious and personable. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was very romantic. We made some new friends and had wonderful conversations throughout the evening. Thank you Beau and Martha Ellen. We look forward to more evenings with you and Marlsgate in the future.

Never been here. But then again I wouldn’t think to get married at Austritz or at Treblinka extermination camp much less think of staying there for a night for breakfast. How distasteful. Shame on you lot profiting on a history immense violence and death.

I have been now 5 times and have 4 more booked with various friends and family. it is a wonderful experience. Martha Ellen and Beau are
wonderful host and the staff are awesome. It also helps that I i have known them most of my life!!!! Martha Ellen and Travis that is. If you want to be wined and dined I suggest you book your brunch and special events. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Martha Ellen for being so gracious.
