Had a wonderful experience pursuing my Advanced SCUBA certification with Mars and working with their amazing instructors Chris, Bailey, Jaime, and Carl. The advanced certification consisted of 5 classes: Deepwater, Underwater Navigation, Nitrox, Dry Suit, and Advanced Buoyancy. Not only was it a great value, but all classes were expertly taught. I was in great hands with Mars, and all instructors prioritized safety, instruction, comfortability, community, and fun.

If you are a diver or looking to become one and have never been here, you are missing out! Whether you are looking to take your first breath underwater or make your 1000th dive, the awesome staff at Mars can help you with all your needs. Their instructors and dive masters have a wealth of dive knowledge and experience. From snorkeling all the way up to deep technical diving, they all share a passion for the underwater world. They rent, sell and service high quality, top of the line equipment. A lot of which they dive themselves. No overpriced junk here! The owners, Chris and Jerra, are very hands on with all aspects of their business. Which seems to be a rarity these days. If they aren’t at the shop helping customers, you can find them in the water teaching classes or hosting one of the many dive trips they offer. If you get a chance to check them out ( or their sister shop Steel City Scuba), you won’t regret it!

I got my open water certificate with Mars Scuba and had a blast doing it! Great instructors and really enjoyed diving in the quarries. I'm going to dive more with them and look into getting more certificates soon!

This is going to be an honest review and lengthy one.
Pros -
1. Chris and Shannon are the best instructors that one could get in the whole area. Kudos to them for being so calm and compose with all the students.
2. The gear that is being used is top notch and very reliable.

Cons -
1. Be sure to be clear on the pricing on each and everything. I was told in the class that go on your own pace and one needs to be very careful if you don't feel it at the day of dive or have health issues they would reschedule it and don't force it but never told that when you go next time you will be charged extra for each and everything and that to a bomb which I asked 3-4 times that I reschedule would I be charged or anything and which was not conveyed.
2. There is no way to instructors to know this but at times you might feel racism, there was a family who was and this was pointed out to the people at mars scuba.
