It was an honor to have Mattlyn as our wedding planner! We decided a planner was vital due having an out of state wedding, and we couldn’t have done it without her.

By choosing Mattie, you’re signing up for someone that is incredibly patient, kind, and bubbly! She’s very good at reminding you that the wedding is all about what you want and to not sweat the small or big stuff. She has gone above and beyond to help us with every question- even as we wrapped up festivities.

Our favorite moments had to be the ceremony and sneaking away during cocktail hour to see the reception space before our guests!

We had the most wonderful experience with Mattlyn Shelton as the wedding planner for my daughter & SIL's wedding. We chose Mattlyn because of her experience and stories she told us of how she handled wedding day hiccups in the past. Hers was the first contract we signed, and it was the best decision we made. Mattlyn made the process of planning the wedding organized, calm and truly our own. Her excellent communication with us gave us confidence that plans were on track and under control. She was always proactive and responsive to our questions and gave us great advice and options so decisions could be ours. We really appreciated hearing current ways of handling wedding timelines, food service options and wedding day events. Our wedding location was not close to either family's home, or Mattlyn's, but that was never an issue. On wedding weekend Mattlyn & her husband ran rehearsal, set up the reception space (and packed up for us after) and executed the wedding day timeline flawlessly. No one could believe how relaxed the day was for everyone. It allowed us to enjoy our families' day as we should! Also noteworthy was the fact that during our planning year, Mattlyn moved to a different city with her family, had a baby without missing a beat. I cannot sing her praises enough. I recommend Mattlyn Shelton Weddings and Events 1000% to anyone looking for a planner.

Mattie was responsive to questions prior to the wedding day, very helpful at the rehearsal and was fantastic at orchestrating all the moving parts on the wedding day, all the while reassuring her slightly overwhelmed bride and groom. She was very organized, professional and kind. I highly recommend her and heard the DJ and Bartender singing her praises also. Everything ran perfectly smoothly and was the best day ever for the bride and groom! Well done Mattie!

Mattie was AMAZING! She made the entire wedding planning process stress-free, and if I ever felt overwhelmed or confused I could call her and she was able to walk me through everything and calm my nerves. Her attention to detail and organization were top-notch, and she went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect on our big day. I couldn't have done it without her—highly recommend! Mattlyn Shelton is absolutely the best decision we made for our wedding! Our wedding was perfect and stress free because of Mattie. Throughout the planning process she was excellent with finding vendors in our price range and she was very good with communicating with us. On the actual wedding day Mattie truly was the reason that we got to relax and enjoy the most important day of our lives. A "wedding planner" is something I definitely recommend when planning a wedding, especially if it's Mattlyn Shelton!

USE MATTIE AS YOUR WEDDING PLANNER!!!!

Mattie was recommended to us from our venue and after our first meet and greet with her we knew she was the right planner for us. She cared not only about how the wedding was going to look but also about how we wanted to feel and how we wanted our guest to feel throughout the whole experience. That meant so much to us.

From there, she on-boarded as our 120 day out planner. Right at 120 days she was ready to hit the ground running and make our lakeside garden party dreams come true. She was there for all of my chaotic texts, my hype woman for little decor ideas I wanted to bring into reality, kept me from missing key pieces (like actually ordering a wedding cake lol!), and helped navigate last minute snafus. She seamlessly integrated all of our vendors/support that we had planned throughout the day. Coordinating with them respectfully, professionally, and thoughtfully to make sure everyone showed up Saturday morning ready to go!

Once wedding weekend was finally here Mattie hmmed about the venue from Friday through Sunday, checking every box with a big smile on her face. I truly could not tell you if something went wrong on Saturday (it was really just that great in our eyes!) but I know that Mattie was out there making sure that was the case from early in the morning until the very late hours of the night. She was so sweet and kind (while also making sure what needed to get done got done) to everyone there - not just me and my husband. This fact was really showcased to me when I saw my dad bearhug Mattie and thank her for making our wedding day so perfect. I mean come on. You want a wedding planner that illicit that kind of emotion for the father of the bride.

I don't know what more to say! I miss Mattie! I want to plan another wedding so we can hang out again! Book her!

Mattlyn was a lifesaver for my daughters wedding. She continued to check on Morgan and the bridal party to make sure they had everything they needed and also kept the bride and groom aware of what was going on. She stayed in touch with all the vendors and made sure everyone was where they should be. We could not have pulled this wedding off without her. Highly recommend Mattlyn❤️ She was amazing!!!
