Cool place, i like the vibe, kinda a dive, but i like that. The place has history and it's been around for a long time. The chicken wings smelled real good, will definitely go back to try.

We have stopped on more than one occasion for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the food has been consistently good. Prices are reasonable. Service is great. People are friendly. We found our new spot! So glad we stopped and gave the Medix a try!!

Not homemade, likely from a frozen bag, simple basic breakfast in the bar. Not many breakfast places in the Elk area. So this will do. The waitress was friendly and doing her job.

We REALLY used to love coming here on our annual benezettee trip. the last two times were horrible. Last year we waited an hour and a half for 3 burgers, place wasn't busy. The owner didn't care, and the waitresses ended up paying for our meal because they thought it was wrong as well! This time, we ordered a 14$ sampler platter, and it was absolutely disgusting and SO SMALL, maybe 8 pieces in it. (Picture of the empty basket attached) Waited forever to get another beer, then waited forever to get the check. My husband asked for the check, and the lady asked if the girl could get her table (us) the check, and she screamed NO at the top of her lungs. Like, okay, I should have just left if you don't really want your money? Please don't waste your money here and go somewhere who values their customers and not just the money!!

I'd give this 0 stars if I could. We were there for 2 hours (waited 1.5 hrs for our food). It was $10.99 for 2 eggs, 2 sausages, toast (with no jelly), and homefries (peppers and onions are another 1.50). Worst eggs, toast and homefries I've ever had. No prices on the menu. Another 10.49 for 2 very small pieces of "french" toast and 2 sausage patties. 3.50 for coffee. Service (as I mentioned we waited 1.5 hrs for food) was not good at all.

Just stopped today for a drink sat at the bar 5+ minutes and nobody acknowledged us. Person walked out of the kitchen looked at us went to a cooler and back to the kitchen no hi or someone will be with you or screw you. Waited another minute and left. Heard they have new owners that is why we thought we would give it a try since 15 years ago it had terrible service too. Well somethings never change. Completely don't recommend it!!

The first red flag is the draft beer is served in plastic throw away cups. I asked to add ketchup and mustard on a burger and they couldn't do that because that's not what came on that particular burger. So, I finished my beer and went down the road to the Benezette Hotel for food like I should of in the first place. My waitress was nice though.

Worst burger I ever had and I’m 67. Service was slow and there was only another couple besides me and my wife. Don’t waste your time or money. Over priced.
