Amazing venue. Beyond my expectations. I gave Melissa a few inspiration pictures and her execution was spot on. I would highly recommend to do the package with the venue and decorations for any event. 10/10 recommend. Her staff Cindy was also amazing , super helpful and accommodating.

Pros: The decor was great !
Cindy and mel are friendly and made them selves available to me as much as she could.
The place is kept clean.

Cons: the stairs handle is loose and can definitely be a hazard! (I am pregnant and that myself scared me going down).

I also agree they state you pay for 8 hrs of rental which is not true. The decor package (for $3,800) you get 6 hrs because an hour is taken to “decorate”. You do lose another hour because you have to go in and finish setting up food, drinks, etc… the last hour the lights are turned on and music is lower to give a “ hint to people” that the party is almost going to end. I personally did not like how they emphasize and seem to constantly repeat if not you will be ask to pay an additional fee.

Yes!! Note the venue does NOT supply toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap, ice, garbage bags, or hangers. I got everything myself and the coat rack was not even place out for us!

Over all the place is fair in price and I guess you get what you pay for.

Mel’s Fab Events did a wonderful job with my 40th Birthday Party. This was my first party ever and I was not disappointed. The staff was courteous and helpful from beginning to end! Melissa did an outstanding job bringing requested color scheme to life! I highly recommended using Mel’s Fabe events!!

So I had my daughters sweet 16 here the decor of the venue was fantastic!!!! They did a wonderful job!!!! BUT…….. the owner is RUDE!!!!! In my honest opinion she needs to learn how to properly communicate with her clientele. When texting her in regards to her pricing (which is NOT consistent) her response was very defensive and combative. She gives you one price and her staff gives you another, and the website says something else lmao. The website also says you pay for 8 hrs of rental…. Not completely true. If you get the décor package (for $3,600) you get 6 hrs because she takes an hr of your time to “decorate”. Which makes no sense because she owns the place and can decorate at any given time. Most places I rented and opted in for the décor package give you your full 8 hrs since they are decorating….. then u lose another hr because you have to go in and finish setting up food, drinks, etc… my rental hrs were from 3-10pm. BUT my event contract stated 4-9pm because of the hrs the deduct. The venue does NOT supply toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap, ice, garbage bags, or dish soap (yes they expect you to wash dishes although a cleaning crew comes in after to clean the venue)…… back to communication. When texting her (the owner) and requesting a receipt for my payment made she took 3 days to respond and send me a receipt. In my opinion that’s VERY unprofessional. Her excuse was she’s on vacation…. Now if you’re on vacation and unavailable, someone else should be able to assist (in my opinion). I sent her a picture of how I wanted my tables and centerpieces. Her response was I don’t copy other creators designs. A decor mock up will be an additional $100…. BUT the picture I sent her was from HER website and you could clearly see the url in the picture lol….I would NEVER book an event here again because her customer service is horrible. A few ppl that attended my daughters party told me they inquired about hosting a party with her prior to my event and they experienced the same poor customer service from her. Had I known that before I would have never booked the event space. Her staff that I originally spoke with in regards to booking the hall was very polite and pleasant. If it wasn’t that I booked 2 months prior to my event I wouldn’t have even hosted my event there. But to basically sum it up everything EXCEPT for the owner was fine.

I would recommend this venue to anyone!! The owner and staff of the venue are very professional and do an amazing job at staying in contact. The hostess onsite the day of the event was super helpful and made sure she was available if we ran into any problems. I would host another event here any day of the week.

Absolutely stunning! My boyfriend had a wonderful birthday party here. The environment was clean, private and peaceful. My hostess Cindy was the absolute bomb! She helped me with everything. every aspect of the party and i couldn't have done it without her.
The mood lights, the private catering area and even the beautiful chandlers hanging from the ceiling. Your piece of class in the Bronx.
Thanks again for a wonderful experience. We will be back!

We had the pleasure of having our event here and all I can say are great things about this place. Excellent customer service from the owner Mel and every staff member! We viewed many other Halls in the BX and this was the only one to offer everything and I mean everything and the place looks fabulous as well. I can't wait to have another event here!
