I had a great stay here. Our room was clean, warm, and had hot water. Breakfast had plenty of options, including pancakes, boiled eggs, cereal, and coffee—we enjoyed it. The internet worked well too. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay!

It was great for what I needed. I was attending a wedding and stayed here for the weekend. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The location was good for what I needed and the room was okay for the price. My room had a fridge and microwave in it which I appreciated. I would say that I don’t think the room was thoroughly cleaned as I found a pretzel under the window seal (I didn’t have pretzels in the room). Other than this and the needed updates with the carpet and furniture, it was a good stay for the 2 nights. Lastly, the walls are very thin and you may hear the people in the next room doing everything..…For the price and it being quick trip, it was worth it I guess.

Room was clean and beds and pillows were very comfy. The location was also nice and very quiet. Unfortunately we missed breakfast since we had to be somewhere early in the a.m. but it smelled very good as we walked by and I wished I could’ve had some lol.

My overnight stay was great. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
Just 2 minutes from Lehigh Valley Hospital Dickson City, PA. Very convenient too!
Breakfast was delicious and Coffee was hot. Great way to start the morning.

Clean and comfortable facility, easy to access from highway. Adequate lighting and heat. Pleasant staff. Mostly quiet, sound-protected rooms, quiet elevator. Very nice bath products in room. Good Italian-American restaurant within easy walking distance.

The tail starts with my husband was having surgery at Lehigh Valley in Dickson City, due to inclement weather I booked a room online. I called the Microtel in Dickson City, location was the only good part of the experience, 4hrs before time of check in and they did not have my reservation...I was told at this time there was only 1 room available, believing I was probably scammed online and worried we would not have a room, I booked that room. Well upon arrival I had 2 rooms.... the man at the front desk said the manager said she would take care of it, but did not I was charged, because unfortunately that is the world we live in. But it does not stop there, I had to book again Thursday and Friday. I had no issues Thursday. Friday, I called and had to hold the room with my card but wanted to pay cash for the room which I did. It was a little hectic at the front desk when I checked in, the gentleman behind the desk was on the phone, so I never thought to ask for a receipt, nor did he offer one he just gave me my $.09 change for the $101.00 I gave him. Big mistake on my part. But I'm getting ahead of myself. I walk into my room the first 2 light switches did not turn any lights on, having to walk halfway into the room to find a light switch that would turn a light on (this will be an important factor later). I chose to leave the bathroom light on as a night light since I was staying in the room without my husband. The deadbolt to the door didn't seem to lock completely so I was sure to use the bar across the top. AT 12:40am I was woken up by my door opening and a man saying, "Well this is not the right room". The bar on the top of the door did not keep the door from opening, and had I not left the bathroom light on a man would have had to walk ALL the way into the room to turn a light on rather than stop at the door due to the bathroom light being on and seeing toiletries on the counter. I am just glad the man was not drunk and was a decent person for just shutting the door and leaving. To say I was shook up would be an understatement. My keys had to be reprogrammed for my room, needless to say I did not sleep well that night feeling the need to leave a light on and the tv on. Understandably, my husband beside himself asked me to get phones numbers for a manager and corporate for him to call, to which we were denied. In the day and age of the internet we looked up a number and called and was told someone would be getting back to him within the week. He did in fact got a phone call, the night of the incident would be refunded, great. However, they charged my card even though I paid cash, I guess this Microtel doesn't reconcile their cash drawer (should be $100.91 over) or the man I paid pocketed the money, but the security cameras would clearly show I handed him cash. All in all, it has been an expensive stay, where we got screwed twice, Microtel definitely made money on us...but I guess that is the world we live in these days.

Had a wonderful stay here on our way to New York. Staff was extremely helpful and polite. They had free breakfast included which was surprisingly good. Rooms were fairly large and clean and all for $68 USD for the night. Highly recommend.

Positive: Clean comfortable room, good value, and right along our route. Negative: We were in room 124. Whoever was in room 122 made so much noise (yelling and screaming) from 11 PM to 4:30 AM that sleep was not possible. This is a small hotel and the staff should have dealt with the noise.
