Other than the fact that this house was a brothel in 1900s, everything else is absolutely astounding. They did a great job to maintain the original sight with the paper walls and furniture, makes it look like we went back in time. Eric was a great tour guide of the house.

Interesting old building with a mixed history. Brothel, home, restaurant, visitors center, museum. Worth a visit. Some nice (not original peridot correct) furniture and stained glass

We went to Miss Laura’s to pick up brochures for Ft Smith. Little did we know this was an old brothel! The tour was super interesting and the house was restored beautifully. Definitely recommend!

Went in not expecting what it was going to be. The tour guide (Faye) was really nice and accommodating and knew what she was talking about. But even more so I could tell she was passionate about it. Which is a great thing to have when doing tours

Mike, the tour guide, was a pleasure to talk to. Knowledgeable about the home and it’s history- with a really cool story of his own! Free admission, stickers and a “clean bill of health” as free souvenirs (make sure to sign the guestbook!) The history of the home is wild! Lovely, casual atmosphere inside. Lots of historic artifacts and details. Decor is stunning! Still very much so inhabited by a nice woman who seems to have never left the bordello… at least from what we could tell. Nice experience. Glad we stopped!

Very neat little piece of history here in Fort Smith.
Small museum, worth the visit.
Tour lady is very knowledgeable and nice.
Free admission but please leave a small donation 🙂
