This food tour MADE my trip! Not only were there so many good eats but Anish was so knowledgeable about the area. We ate at 5 different places, which was the perfect amount and balance of food. Anish also went into great detail about the historical and cultural background and how it influenced the food available in the Mission district. I would definitely recommend this experience to friends and especially for dates!

Anish was a wonderful tour guide! We learned about some history, ate many special food from the Mission which we would not have known or had a chance to buy, and enjoyed very much. Great way to experience the City in a different perspective.

Anish is a terrific tour guide of his neighborhood. He walked us through the Mission and the Castro, pointing out his favorite places and putting everything in a historical and cultural context. I felt like I came away with a great sense for the area, almost as though I had lived there! Anish is friendly, fun, and generous. He really went above and beyond by bringing us up to see a breathtaking view of the city from the roof of his apartment where he surprised us with glasses of wine to cap off the experience. If you don't know where to start on your food journey of San Francisco, look no further!! Anish has created the perfect way to sample the best of what the Mission has to offer. He was very knowledgeable of not just the food and places we ate, but the neighborhood's rich history. Anish went above and beyond to make a tour with a lot of value! Especially for anyone who feels overwhelmed with how many options there are in the city. Between the sweet and savory, you will taste it all with fun facts along the way!

Anish is incredibly knowledgeable of the surrounding area of Mission and Castro. The tour took about 2-2.5 hours. I loved seeing all the street art and taking those instagram worthy shots and Anish was a great photographer! He made the walking tour to the historical landmarks super fun and enjoyable. Anish was so considerate by packing some delicious homemade Pb&j as a midway snack to continue our lovely journey around town then ending it with a beautiful rooftop view and a glass of wine. Can't get any better than that! Thanks Anish!

I visited SF with my friends and we LOVE to eat - morning to night. I took the Eat the Mission food tour, and it was amazing! Not only did we eat unique dishes from top establishments, but we also got a better feel of the history and culture of the Mission. Thanks for being a great host Anish!

The Eat the Mission tour was so much fun! Anish was a great host- super passionate about the area and made me feel so welcome like I had known him for years! Multiple photo opps or just enjoy the moment opps throughout the walk 🙂 would def recommend if visiting or just looking for a cool day activity.
