I have had the pleasure of working with Christa for years as a local Wedding Planner. She has always been amazing with my couples, so when it came time to plan my own wedding...she was the clear choice! From the initial hiring all the way through to processing the marriage license, she was with us every step of the way. My husband was unable to attend our meeting, so she went to his work to introduce herself so he felt comfortable with her too!! She goes above and beyond. On the wedding day, she made sure to come see me at the hotel to check in with me and gather the marriage license. I also noticed she was introducing herself to our friends and family which meant a lot with such a small wedding. The ceremony itself was perfection. Everyone was in tears but there were small moments of humor that helped with nerves. She helped us with a ring ceremony to include our daughter as well. She was genuinely excited to be there and help us tie-the-knot. After the ceremony, she ensured our witnesses signed the license and everything was squared away. She even met us after the wedding day to notarize the license and handle everything to get it processed. Christa was willing to get up early and promptly responded to any questions to suite our needs. She wrote our ceremony in a day from what seemed like random questions! She was always friendly and upbeat. We had to communicate with her from out of state until our wedding day so we felt like we were taking a huge risk, but I couldn’t be happier. My wedding was perfect.

We were set to elope to Tahoe and thought the local licensing office would be able to perform the ceremony. To my dismay a week prior to our planned wedding date I discovered they do not perform wedding ceremonies. They were kind enough to give us the contact info for Mountain High and I immediately contacted them. Christa was so warm and friendly and did not hesitate to officiate for us even with only a weeks notice. The day of the ceremony there was a delay with one of our witnesses due to weather. She was able to delay our ceremony time so our witnesses could safely arrive. The ceremony was lovely and she thoughtfully brought cider and hot chocolate. She was so thoughtful and attentive from beginning to end. If i had it to do over I would pick her and change nothing!!!

Christa Deane/Mountain High Weddings was excellent! We started with emails and a phone call to discuss details, and Christa sent us sample scripts and worked with us to craft a ceremony that was exactly what we wanted - non-religious but with a hand fasting portion as well as the usual ring exchanges, vows, etc. She even made sure ahead of time that her outfit would complement but not compete with the bride's. Her professionalism really shined through on the day of the wedding. She arrived early and waited patiently while we wrapped up some pre-ceremony photos, checked in with us, walked us through marriage license paperwork, and then took her place at the ceremony site, where everything ran smoothly except for some audio equipment issues causing her mic to cut in and out a bit (provided by the DJ, not her). A couple weeks after the wedding (don't remember exactly but not long) we received our marriage and a laminated ceremony script keepsake - she followed up to make sure everything arrived. I would recommend her to anyone in her service area without hesitation. Thank you, Christa!

Christa made our elopement so special, I’m so grateful I found her. I felt like I also had a wedding planner as she helped with logistics and recommendations, easing our minds with planning and helping us through. She took photos of us which were high quality! ( we couldn’t afford a photographer). And she collected sugar pines as memorabilia for our special day, they sit on our book shelf. Thank you so much Christa for making our day special! My husband and I were married by Christa at the beginning of April and she was amazing! I found her online because we wanted to elope in Tahoe and she didn’t disappoint! From the very beginning Christa made the process so easy and explained everything. I was very overwhelmed about getting the marriage license and paperwork but she took care of everything and on the day of the wedding we just showed up, she married us … took some pics and we signed the paperwork! It was stress free and fun! She was very nice and it was a beautiful ceremony!
I am so glad we found her!
