This was a great find. Extremely quiet, and peaceful site for your RV. Maybe around 10 sites, some are long term, but all have ample space between, so if you look out your window, you see trees and shade, not your neighbor.

Well kept, and has free Wi-Fi, cable TV hookup and necessities like water and sewer.

Owner was keen to privacy of people staying there but able to help or answer questions.

Right on the Indiana/Illinois border and right on the edge of Mt. Carmel.

Great little park off the beaten path. Nice surroundings and quiet. Full hookups with good Wi-Fi allowed me to work a little while we were there. They seem to keep the park clean and are very friendly. No grill or picnic tables but we had our own so this was not an issue for us.

My family who lives in the area recommended this 8 site RV park and what a gem it turned out to be. The owners keep the campground well maintained. Our site (#8) was nicely graveled and had plenty of room for our 42' 5th wheel and truck. The 50amp, full hookup and good cable makes your stay very comfortable. We look forward to staying again! If there is one recommendation to make, an official fire ring would be a nice amenity.

Very Nice campground! Sites are full hookup and VERY Spacious! We have a 40 foot 5th wheel and did not unhook truck, that's how long the sites are! And was able to park our car beside our RV. Owners were super nice! We stayed for a week! Lots of shade and very quiet! 👍We will be back!

Clean, pleasant, very quiet. The owners are wonderful to work with, continuously working on improving the property. This was perfect for us, almost felt like we were out in the country, but we were just on the edge of town. We felt very safe. Very close to conveniences of the nice, quaint community. Rates were very reasonable, including full hook up, and even basic cable. Easy back in spaces. Loved hearing the hoot owls. High school track just down the road that's open to the public for walking. Everyone was feeling the challenge of dealing with days of horrendous rain, but you can't control mother nature. Would love to stay with the Merriel's again!

If you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable campground this is it. Tall trees provide wonderful shade. Only 9 spots with mostly full timers, it was perfect for us. Less than an hour to several museums and attractions. The small town here is filled with beautiful homes and several brick streets. Highly recommended.

The only reason I didn't give five stars is that my site could've used a little more gravel to keep down the mud, but we had a lot of rain during my stay. It is a wonderful little campground near everything in Mt. Carmel with full hookups. The owner even helped marshal me into my site. He also let me check in early because I was coming into town for a funeral and needed to set up my TT, shower, and attend the visitation. I definitely plan on staying there for my future visits to Mt. Carmel.

Looks like a clean spacious camper park.. It's shaded well and is very close to the river.. The description is only what I've seen from the road I've never stayed in the park.. I'd say I'm on the money tho.. Check it out....
