This is absolutely the best way to see Shipshewana and the surrounding community. Gary and Sue have many Amish friends so you get an inside look. They could answer everyone of our many questions and Gary tailored the day to our personal interests. A fantastic tour!

If you want cookie cutter tourist highlights……don’t leave Van Buren Street in Shipshewana. If you want to immerse yourself in the local Amish community, learn about the people and culture and meet with some of the greatest folks in the area…..hire Sue (I’m sure Gary is wonderful, too😜) from My Amish Indiana. She spent the day with us and was a fountain of knowledge and a delight to be with. We loved every minute and feel that we’ve made new friends. Also, find Sue’s blog. She has a gift putting words together to make you feel that you’ve lived experiences with her. Wish I could give My Amish Indiana 8572638592736 stars!!!
