We recently had an extraordinarily great experience with some vendors, and I want to point out one in particular.

I need to give huge kudos to a vendor my daughter hired as a “Day Of” coordinator for her wedding. Martha Yates did an incredible job for us.

In order to be good at this job, you need to be part Army General / Best Friend / Ringmaster / Counselor, and Martha finds a way to blend all of these things into a skill and personality set which makes it all seem effortless.

The coordinator has to be tough at times to get folks moving but can’t cross the line and be mean. Martha did this flawlessly, with humor, compassion, and fleece covered toughness ?

I really don’t know how we would have gotten through everything without her. This wedding was incredible. We had dozens of folks, many of whom were older who said that this was the best executed and most fun wedding that they had ever been to. This was in large part due to the plans of my daughter, but the complexity of the event was facilitated completely by Martha.

I recommend Martha as an event organizer / coordinator without reservation.

She is amazing. Thank you Martha! I will remember this event very fondly for the rest of my life.

Where do I begin? I ran into Martha when she was first beginning in the wedding industry. I needed a coordinator for me upcoming wedding so I took the plunge. I look back and think she was the BEST vendor and decision for my wedding. Martha was the most professional, kind hearted, determined, and organized person. Without her, I would not have been able to enjoy my day. If you want someone who will give it their all for YOUR day, Martha is 100% your person.

Martha was a wonderful person to work with for our wedding. She was very available whenever I needed help and had lots of connections around the Kansas City community. Even though I only hired her for day of coordination, she still responded to my questions way earlier than that and helped me with finding some of my vendors that I was struggling with. The day of my wedding, I didnt work with her personally but with one of her staffing members and my day went off without any complications. I am a very type A person and like to be heavily involved in events I plan but I truly was able to relax that day and let them deal with everything. I didnt have any major catastrophes at my wedding but I think that also speaks to how well she made sure everyone was set up and prepared day of. There are always the minor fires you run into but her staff was well equipped to handle them and I didn't know of anything going on behind the scenes. She was a joy to work with and I am glad I got someone so dedicated to making my day special.

Martha is absolutely amazing!! I got married on 9/2/22 and couldn’t have done it without her and her assistant’s help. We used her month of coordinating services and it took so much stress off of me and my fiancés shoulders and allowed us to enjoy the day of our wedding. She even ran to the store and got me some sticky tape for my chest haha! If you are looking for a coordinator who recommends vendors, goes to vendor meetings with you, gives you suggestions & the do’s and don’t’s, and does literally every single thing for you the morning of your wedding, Martha’s your gal!
