We had not been to Napa/Sonoma wine country in over 30 years, and did not know where to start. When I asked at our hotel if there was a trusted experienced professional guide we could hire for the day, they immediately recommended Raoul Pare, famously known as the Napa Sonoma Wine Guy ! Raoul took the four of us on an amazing wine tour adventure. We visited three family owned/boutique wineries, ones we would never have thought of going to. The visits were each about two hours long and were personal, private and educational. Just what we were looking for. And oh yes, the wines were phenomenal ! We bought bottles at every stop, as the wine just kept getting better at every place we went. We had a pleasant lunch to break the day up, and were able to pick Raoul's brain on how the wine country has been evolving over the last 30 years. He was so knowledgeable and connected to the Napa/Sonoma area. It was just a great day !! We would highly recommend spending a day or two with Raoul on your next visit to Napa.

We had a great time with the Napa Sonoma Wine Guy! This business was recommended to us by the bed and breakfast we stayed at in Napa, and we were very happy with the experience overall. Raoul planned an itinerary for us after a quick consultation call and factored in our likes/dislikes, which really made the experience very personal. Even though he wasn't available to drive us on our requested tour date, he found us a more-than-qualified driver to take us through the itinerary. We had unique experiences at vineyards that we only were able to do because we worked with an insider like Raoul (like an ATV ride and a cave tour), and I would definitely use his services again in the future.

We had a most enjoyable Wine Tour experience in Sonoma Valley with Raoul Pare, the Napa Sonoma Wine Guy, on August 23rd 2024. On-time pickup from our accommodation in Napa. Based on our previous phone conversation where we explained our preferences, Raoul established the agenda for the day, ie visiting three wineries in the Sonoma Valley, and lunch along the way. He demonstrated his professionalism and deep experience with this region, but especially knowing wines and the wineries. Prior to arrival at each tour location we got a brief overview as to what to expect, which was useful. The places he selected for us were outstanding ! The restaurant for lunch was also wonderful.
We also appreciated Raoul's watching the time for us so that we managed to arrive on time for the various tours. The entire day was super relaxing, interesting, enjoyable and stress-free, since we did not have to drive.
When in Napa/Sonoma area the next time, we will certainly touch base with Raoul again.

Raoul was a great host for these tours. Brought us to a variety of wineries that we would not have found on our own, some by reservations only and open to the general a mix of larger producers and smaller boutique ones. All with knowledgeable host. Highly recommended.

I've taken tours in six different countries and In my experience Raoul is a consummate expert wine tour guide. He paid attention to every detail from a comfortable luxury vehicle to a customized tour based on our favorite types of wine. If a customized expert tour is what you want this will be worth the money.

This was our first visit to Napa. From the moment we were picked up at our Inn, we were given the white glove treatment.
Raoul went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfectly suited to our preferences and tastes. He is gracious, caring, and extremely knowledgable in the Wine space. We were welcomed with open arms at each winery and given a personal tour. This was an experience we will remember forever. I highly recommend the Napa Sonoma Wine guy hands down. Raoul is the best!

This is the only way to experience wine country! Leave the driving and the planning to the wine guy...he selected/booked all the wine tastings (which were all unique), our lunch/dinner reservations and took care of all the driving, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. Highly recommend!!!
