My daughter was married this weekend. Nelsons catered the meal. It was delicious. The workers were discreet and did a wonderful job. The office staff in the lead up to the wedding were so professional and helpful. The bride and groom would not have changed a thing. We got many compliments on the food and helpful staff. We are so thankful we booked Nelsons.

We worked with Wanda for our wedding, and she made the entire planning process so easy! We had the strolling stations, and it was the best decision ever as there was something for everyone to eat, and we had the ability to have fun foods like mac n cheese bar and pretzel bites with cheese! A few weeks later and we still have guests mentioning how good the food was! The only down side was the few staff members working our reception were not super friendly, but overall I would highly recommend Nelson’s again!

I am with the Decatur Underground Theater in Decatur, Illinois and we use Nelsons as a fundraiser for our Community Theatre group and I have to give a 5 star or even a 10 Star rating to Nelsons for the service and the help that they give us in raising money for our Theater group. Working with our new representative , Cailey Lansing, Made my job a lot easier on my end. The young man that came to Decatur to set At the Decatur Civic Center And to help us run, the fundraiser was excellent also. Kudos to him. Again, a 10 star rating! You won’t regret working with them!!

Wanda did such an amazing job keeping the details of our ever-evolving wedding day organized during catering planning. The food was delicious and we have that on good authority from multiple guests! Nelson’s has so many options from the budget-friendly buffet meals to the reasonably priced elegant plated meals. For couples who want a fancy entree, I highly recommend the citrus glazed salmon and the prime rib. And for couples who don’t want cake… Nelson’s ice cream bar was a HUGE hit! Nelson’s took our family’s allergies seriously and there was not a single peanut in sight at that toppings bar. Thanks again to all of your staff for their hard work keeping our loved ones fed. And a shout-out to the bar staff who kept them with drinks in their hands all night long! You guys rock.

We chose Nelson's as the caterer for our daughter's wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made in the planning process! They worked with us to create the perfect menu which included appetizers and the meal, and were available to answer any questions we had along the way. But, the night of the event, they really showed what a quality company they truly are! The service was flawless and the food was amazing. Their staff were professional, attentive, and helpful. We're are so grateful and pleased to have chosen them as the catering company for this special event!

I have worked hand in hand with Nelsons for many years now, and they are one of the best caterers in the business. I always enjoy the staff when they come to my venue, and you only have to tell them something one time and they are on it. They are at a great price point and the quality is amazing too.

Nelson’s catering was simply amazing. Their staff COMPLETELY pivoted due to our rain delay, and best of all - they did it all with a smile and had fun. Apps were earlier, dinner was later, cake was quick, and they smiled and were so happy to just be there. They were very professional. Their service staff brought me multiple plates of appetizers to the bridal suite, did not clear my seat when I requested it (had a hard time eating due to nerves and exhaustion and wanted to try to eat more later), and the food was so, so good. I had so many people come talk to me afterwards about how wonderful the food was. Their wedding coordinator was professional and responsive. The reason I chose Nelson’s is because they were the only ones in town who could respond to me in a reasonable amount of time. They had a dedicated and responsive wedding coordinator - and this will matter! Big time! They also had such happy staff - and this will matter! Big time! Cannot recommend enough for your wedding.
