Beautiful estates! Reasonable price and they even give you complimentary bottles of water! The estates are fairly large, so allow at least 2 hours to look at everything properly.

Also, the staff were friendly and there were a lot of staff throughout the house who explain things to you and answer questions.

Also, just note that a section of the gardens is closed off due to construction and will be finished in spring 2026! It looks like it will be beautiful when it's done!

Beautiful, beautiful place and such a knowledgeable staff + friendly staff! I went during the winter holiday season, and it was decorated festively/different in each room. I think it’d be worth a trip back if you’ve already previously visited.

Next, I want to check out the estates during spring or summer, plus when all the fountains are operable.

Christmas at Nemours is absolutely beautiful and a really hidden gem. Nemours Mansion is truly amazing. Home equipped eith amazing sustaining technology and beautiful gardens. We can't wait to go back in the Spring and summer to walk the estate gardens.

Finding the main entrance to the estate is a little tricky, nav systems wants to take to the old entrance. Entrance is located at the same entrance to Nemours Children's hospital. Follow the signs to the right( they are small).

What a lovely way to spend a few hours on a Fall day. The Nemours Estate has gorgeous grounds with fountains and statues to admire. I’ll look forward to returning once the sunken garden is restored.
The mansion has incredible decor with fabulous chandeliers and period details. The garden tram tour overwhelms with historical facts but is a nice way to see the whole property.

Nemours Estate is beautiful inside and out. There are many garden areas to explore, and one may take a shuttle around the grounds and wooded areas. The mansion is self-guided and the docents enjoy answering questions and sharing their knowledge with visitors. One may see the first and second floors as well as the mansion basement with a bowling alley and billiards room, mechanical rooms and ice room. Every room of the first and second floor is beautifully decorated including Mr. and Mrs. duPont's bedroom, bathrooms, and sitting rooms. The first floor includes a conservatory, reception hall, dining room, library, kitchen, and servant's areas. Don't miss the gift shop which was once the laundry and the Chauffeur's Garage with a display of vintage autos.

You need to go there. If you are not a millionaire go to see how that people live. I grew up in a poor neighborhood and live in a middle class house, so is amazing to see everything they had. Is like being in a TV show or a movie. Really an experience to dimension the social disparity. Very enlightening.

What a beautiful place. We walked thru the gardens and the house. There are people along the way to give you history of the place and explain more about the place. So interesting.
