Booked a trip through Tahiti Travel Planners, a division New Millennium Tours, Inc in March paying the balance in full in June for a November trip. We got an email a week before asking about Whatsapp so their local partners could contact us on our trip. Well we leave on November 23rd and while we are on our layover in SFO, the local Tahiti company reached out to us to inform us that Tahiti Travel Planners has not paid them for any of our services. To find out, Tahiti Travel Planners closed their doors on November 20th because their owner died. They had apparently never paid for any of our services to their local partners. So the local company said we needed to pay them and submit reimbursement from insurance for the other since they never got it. We finally got in touch with one of the original bookers who told us they were laid off and the company closed. Guessing the owner, Claire, had some fishiness going on and didn't pay anyone the last few months while still taking others money. It's unacceptable and we deserve our money back and an explanation. We are disputing the charge on our CC but we deserve a full refund and apology and explanation. The previous employees were told they were not allowed to reach out to clients, so we aren't the only ones ripped off!!!
