We stopped in and shared a mushroom Swiss burger and got the Reuben eggrolls as an appetizer. The Reuben eggrolls weren’t that good, and the dipping sauce wasn’t great either. We were also charged for tater tots instead of fries, which we weren’t told about, and then hit with a fee for splitting the burger. The server was decent, but I was shocked when we got the bill. Felt like a few surprise charges that should have been mentioned upfront.

I never thought of ordering a pizza at Red Mill... simply delicious! Italian beef with giardinara. Super crispy!

Also had fried pickles and cheese curds; excellent! Plus, parmasan/garlic wings; also excellent! They make a great Lynchburg lemonade!

I 100% recommend Niko's Red Mill Tavern!

Just discovered this place a few months ago and have met friends here twice for weekday lunch. Food is good, served warm. I had the Italian beef and fries while my friends had a salad and a burger - everyone enjoyed their meal with plenty to take home. Typical bar food, but good quality and quick to arrive. Indoor and outdoor seating as weather permits. The restroom was clean.

I hate to have to leave a bad review, my wife and I do enjoy the food. We have ordered from her several times and been to eat at the restaurant a few times. Today I ordered off of door dash and when my bowl arrived they were lazy about it and put the corn bread in the bowl instead of on the side like always. This leads the corn bread to taste like BBQ sauce and be horrible and soggy. I've had issues with them adding onion stars before and this is an issue because I'm allergic so I always mark to have no onion straws in my bowl. I do enjoy the food but I feel the staff can be lazy with delivery orders.

For lunch, I ordered the BBQ chicken wrap without the BBQ sauce.... Sounds weird, tasted great! It consisted of grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, bacon, tortilla strip bits, and ranch dressing. Very large, I ate half of it and took the rest home! The sweet potato fries are very good

Food is always top notch. Definitely an active establishment. Not a place to ho if you want quiet. There's a great feeling of community and activities.
