People are friendly. The ladies in the kitchen do a wonderful job preparing fried chicken for lunch. The center regularly spends money renovating and improving the building and the facilities. Meals On Wheels is a valuable service to aging residents for nutrition and to have contact with delivery people daily so the can continue to live in their homes. The center hosts card games and activities for many residents and visitors from many small farming communities. This is the heart of Okawville.

Social place for area senior citizens.
Lunch served daily. Have to let them know by 9:30 AM that you will be eating that day. $5
Eat about noon. Menu for April 2019 attached
Games and puzzles. Treadmill and exercise bikes. Scheduled Bingo, Pinochle, Euchre, Corn Hole (bean bag toss) and Bands.
Classes such as; Rules of the Road, Balance, Living with Chronic Illness....

The folks were lovely, and the location is nice! Plenty of parking, and I've been told the food is great. I can't wait to retire! 😉
