We used On the Roll Catering for our son and daughter-in-law's baby shower. From initial contact to final clean up, they were incredible. The hors d'oeuvres were delicious and guests were asking who the caterer was. Compliments all the way around. When guests are happy, you know you made the right choice. Lena was our contact person and she made sure we were happy and was always ready to help with whatever changes were necessary. I highly recommend On the Roll Catering and Events.

We used On The Roll Catering for an upscale anniversary event in Lafayette, CA. We are extremely happy with their performance! All our guests were so complementary of the food, and beleive me, we are all foodies! Arthur was the first to respond out of 5 caterers I contacted on Yelp, and his was the only fully comprehensive response with menu options and clear pricing. Everything we ordered was as described and delicious. Georgie and the entire bar and food staff were high energy, attractive, professional and helpful! The bar staff made delicious craft cocktails and professionally served everyone quickly! We can't recommend them highly enough. Well done On The Roll! And thank you!

I've been ordering weekly food delivery from them for several weeks in a row.
I don't know how to describe the food in human words... Heavenly? Amazing? Mouth-watering? Any writers here?
I tried multiple things:
- soups (my son commented that the chicken noodle soup was "almost like Grandma's" which is the highest compliment you can get from him)
- salmon (very tender)
- chicken tagine (heaven on earth)
- creamed spinach with bacon (one more heaven on earth)
- chili (too bad I ordered a small portion!)
- pickles and sauerkraut (so much better than from a grocery store!)
I can go on and on.
The delivery is always on time, the food is well-packed and easy to store in the fridge.
Maria keeps adding some goodies, like a jar of pickles, or a pate, or Keto chocolate cake (made my day!).
I'm very happy that I can take a break from cooking (I love cooking but not every day when all the family is home!).
When I have any events in the Bay Area, I know who I'll hire for catering.

For our wedding, we wanted a caterer who met the trifecta: 1) delicious food with a distinctive taste, 2) affordable, and 3) easy to work with. With Masha Matveyeva from “On the Roll” catering, we hit the jackpot!

We tasted a variety of caterers prior to the wedding (which you should do as well), but hands down, Masha’s food was the most unique, flavorful and highest quality. And what you taste in the samples is what you get at the wedding—amazing appetizers and delectable dishes that everyone at our wedding raved about.

Working with Masha was a delight. From the first menu planning to wrapping up final details close to our wedding, we were seriously impressed with how consistently responsive, helpful and willing to go the extra mile she was. Masha always had our backs and was friendly and down-to-earth. Our other wedding vendors were good, but let’s just say they paled in comparison.

Finally, a word about her staff on the day of: they were absolutely marvelous! Hardworking and professional, but also sweet and human. One of the memories we will cherish is the impromptu toast they gave us (with paper cups) after all the guests were gone.

Masha and her crew are a special bunch. We recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer whose warmth, quality and professionalism can bring just a little extra flavor to your wedding or special event.
