There is so much to say about Sarah. She is truly one of kind. Weeks after our wedding, guests are still talking about how Sarah was bringing me fruit to revitalize me- which showed the lengths that she will go to for her clients to ensure that their day is the best day ever! Sarah is incredible at her job, she truly cares about making sure every box is checked off to make sure the day goes flawlessly. Her communication and organization was excellent throughout the whole wedding planning process with not just us but our vendors. Sarah ensures everyone (wedding party, guests, vendors, etc.) are taken care of so everything runs smoothly. A wedding can be super intimidating (it was for us because we had never done this before) and Sarah made us feel so confident and relaxed with her expertise. We have so much respect for Sarah and the work she does. It is a thankless job, putting forth so much effort for people to have such a special day that turns out perfectly with all of the time and passion she puts into the day for others.

Bailey and Sarah were AMAZING!!! We had our wedding at Hilltop Farm this past September and could not be any happier with their help and wedding coordination. They were on top of EVERYTHING and made us feel at ease that all bases were covered and that we were on the right track, which we definitely needed! Our vendors even raved about them! My wife and I were blessed with the incredible opportunity to work with Sarah Parlos and One Fine Day after having our contract terminated by a previous unprofessional wedding planner the month before our wedding. Sarah Parlos and her team took us on as clients and absolutely went over and beyond. With such a short time to coordinate I felt like we were on a phone call or texting almost every day. While serving as our planner and coordinator, One Fine Day’s sister company, Pentimento Design (also under the ownership of Sarah Parlos) also provided our flower arrangements. We couldn't have been more impressed with the over-communication, professionalism, creativity and top tier service that we received from Sarah and her team. From our initial consultation, to ordering our flowers, and the many laughs and tears we shared with Sarah, she was always present and made us feel like a top priority.
We had a vision for our wedding and Sarah carefully and meticulously helped bring our vision to life beyond our expectations. Sarah and her team are incredibly organized, ensuring every vendor was coordinated and every timeline was adhered to seamlessly. Their attention to detail was impeccable, from the floral arrangements to the table settings, creating a beautiful and cohesive atmosphere for all of our guests to enjoy our special day.
Throughout the planning process, Sarah was overly responsive and supportive, always available to answer our questions and offer guidance. She alleviated so much stress (particularly from the bride) and allowed us to truly enjoy our wedding day knowing everything was taken care of. On the wedding day, the coordination was flawless. Even though it rained, there was a tornado warning, the hairstylist was 2 hours late which caused the bride to be 2 hours late. The wedding still ran smoothly, and Sarah’s adaptability and attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the décor to the timeline. Many of our guests commented on how well-organized the wedding was and how smoothly everything flowed.
Honestly, this review doesn’t justify all the hard work and coordinating that Sarah did to ensure we had our dream wedding. There are some personal things that we can’t share, but please know that without One Fine Day we probably would’ve had to push our wedding back another year, but thanks be to God, He allowed us to find Sarah and her company and together we were able to have the most beautiful wedding a bride and groom could ever dream of.
Sarah Parlos, I don’t think you understand how much we appreciate you. You took us on as clients, and worked with us after the horrible experience we had with a former planner, and without you, I can confidently say we wouldn’t have the wedding we dreamt of having. From the bottom of our hearts, we are so thankful, we are so grateful, and we are so appreciative of you and your team.

We had our wedding at HillTop Farm. Bailey, Sara and Ally were excellent! They were very accessible and easy to communicate with and did a great job coordinating details and texting our bridal party to make sure everyone was where they needed to be. The day of our wedding, we did not have to worry about anything! They took charge and made sure everything ran smoothly! Sarah and One Fine Day was easily the best investment we made for our entire wedding! Having a wedding coordinator is so important - planners create experiences, and experiences create feelings. Having a planner allows the couple to live in the moment and have the most memorable, unforgettable day with incredible feelings that will live on far beyond the day. Without a planner, you risk feeling the bitter moments of stress and coordinating details, whereas with Sarah, you simply get to enjoy the day and forever remember how perfect it was.

Sarah was such a pleasure to work with - positive attitude all day, highly organized, gets along with everyone, and the perfect balance of being present and staying behind-the-scenes. I (the bride) was very dehydrated since it was a hot August day, and she recognized that before anyone else and ensured I was taken care of all evening so I could continue to enjoy the day and not miss a beat on the dance floor. We had a sailcloth tented wedding, so there were a lot of moving pieces to keep track of and Sarah took care of all of it flawlessly. When speaking with our families the next morning, their first comment was how incredible Sarah was, and how grateful they were she was there to take care of all of the details. She took all of the stress off of us (both the couple, and the families and guests!), so we could live in the moment. In terms of budget, I reached out to a dozen planners in CT and Sarah had the most competitive rate, and the highest reviews! We could not be happier to have partnered with One Fine Day for our wedding day.
