My granddaughter had the best time ever! Her first time to ride a horse without being led. The horses are soo tame i feel at ease letting her ride alone. The staff are soo nice and i highly recommend this place if you have a unesperienced rider that wants to ride alone. Age 7 and up. Price is fair to for a hour ride.

Beautiful day with hubby and granddaughter to go horseback riding. Reasonable rates. Guides fitted the horses to the riders' riding experience. The guide also explained riding techniques for those of us who needed a reminder of riding etiquette. Comfortable saddles. The trails up and down the hills were navigated by the guides with the greatest of care to the participants (7 of us and 2 trailguides). I kinda felt like I was on a merry go round at such a slow pace, but the trails were rocky, slick, and treacherous after days prior to getting 7 inches plus of rain. They had a platform to get on and off the horse. They adjusted the stirrups so your feet fit comfortably. A bit of the area history was explained while on the trail. You could hear one of the adventure parks while riding through the woods. Riding a horse of stones, through slippery woods and on a Thursday, is definitely off my bucket list. An hour long journey was plenty for me. My granddaughter wanted to do a two plus ride. If you're in Branson and want a peaceful time, check out The Ozark Trail Rides. It won't break the bank or your back.

My wife and I went to the Ozark Trail riding yesterday and our experience was great! I’ve never rode a horse before and the horses were very tame. I had a great conversation with Coy. He really made the trip interesting and fun. I never knew how relaxing horseback riding on trails could be. Great job to Coy and the rest of the team there for an awesome time.

The trail was amazing! I rode in a group of five people (not counting the two trail guides) and everyone was so kind and having a good time! The guides explained their whole routine to get the horses to the trails and they told us about their stable and pasture care (which was positive!). The trail was very close to the coasters, but it really didn’t bother me, it was still fairly peaceful. I rode a horse named Twister. He was a little stubborn on the trail (not wanting to go down steep hills), but overall he was a calm and a great horse. The scenery was great, it had beautiful rolling hills and a blue sky to complement it. Highly recommend! 😊

What a wonderful experience! The staff was warm and welcoming from the first initial phone call to when we lefted. Great price,and beautiful scenery. Cheyenne did a fabulous job as our guide. She was knowledgeable, informative, and patience. The horses were gentle, well trained, and hilarious. Our grandson (10 yrs) and us had a blast! Egor even photo bombed us. Highly recomend!!!

This trail ride was the best one I have ever been on. The people were so friendly and very easy to work and talk with. The horses was very well trained and very friendly to everyone. I highly recommend going on this trail ride if you want to see beautiful parts of the Ozark woods and ride a beautiful horse. All the horses on the trail ride are in a night time show in an outdoor theater called the Shepherd of the Hills.
It was really exciting to see the horse you was riding in a performance such as that one! Nothing but good things to say about this trail ride and theater performance.

3/10/25 Absolute BEST part of our week!!! Everyone there felt like family that ya just haven't seen for a while!! Very knowledgeable. Patient. Great place for someone that hasn't ridden for a while or for kids. Polite and friendly. We called Bear Creek Trails first and the lady that answered the phone wasn't polite and was very gruff. We called Ozark and they answered the phone and identified themselves and the business and asked, How can I help you? Emily and Cheyenne are the best guides. We stayed and visited with "Grandpa" and had the best visit/time. As I said, they feel like ole family ya just hadn't seen since the last family reunion. Pick Ozark over Bear Creek every time!!

We are locals and we had a great time going here to celebrate my husband‘s promotion. We were so excited to be around horses, and there were hills to go up and down. The horses were great no issues at all. The staff is super friendly and we were so happy to hear stories about their families and about the horses. Thank you so much for making this special day for us !!
