Nice little park. Great for kids under 10. I'd give it 5 stars if it had a restroom. Just an fyi to first time visitors, most of the photos in these reviews aren't of the actual park. But they are Cayucos, which is beautiful!

Nice little playground area for kids, but it more of a "pocket park". It is good for both locals & visitors since I think there are only about two playgrounds in the immediate area. The interesting part is actually the "extension" of the park toward the ocean front. There you have no beach access, but quite nice views, among some local coastal plants. Obviously, not worth a special trip, since the main beach park is only a few more blocks away. Of course, it is really nice to break up the unrelenting overdevelopment with any kind of greenery. It is especially nice in the off-season.

Cayugas State Beach stretches all the way down to Morro Bay, so if you're up to it you can walk the entire length of two or three beaches in one go. Good exercise, great views.
