We were in town for one day and stopped in here walking by. The service was great, atmosphere lovely, and food was good too. The chicken liver pate was mouth watering and we both enjoyed our salad and nugget burger. Will definitely go back next time

Loved the happy hour at this French themed place, Austin's first and only absinthe bar.
Happy hour Tues-Fri 4pm-7pm, Sun & Mon all night has $6 cocktails and 1/2 off select food (all marked with a * on the menu).
The lions tail was the best drink we tried and the onion soup and courgette croquettes were great with it.
Our server was so helpful and fun. We had a great time!

What an amazing place. Let's start where one should. At the top. Rob was next level. He not only wanted you to enjoy yourself but to have the best experience you could. The dishes....oh the dishes. Only going there for my first time, cannot allow me to think I have a favorite yet. But let me try. Being a none pork eater, I have to say, Robs version of the charcuterie, was and will be my favorite forever. The Bone Marrow... cooked to perfection, As was the ribeye. Thank you so much for such a great night for my wife and my self.

We had an amazing happy hour experience at Péché last night! Worked out perfectly before we headed over to the Parker Jazz Club for a show at 7:30p. The cocktails were fantastic!! We tried the Pink Moon, the Texas Mule (could taste the ginger…everything was so fresh) and the Royal Bees Knees…all so good! Our server Tara was one of the best we’ve had in a while…so friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food was very good (quick note to the chef…the grains of salt on the burger were a little heavy last night)….we enjoyed the croque! Overall a 5-star experience and a birthday to remember!!

The food and atmosphere is perfect here, it embodies a New Orleans style French restaurant/ bar.
All of their dishes seem mouthwatering, so much so that I found it almost difficult to decide on one dish over another.
At my visit I had the escargot and the beef Wellington, alongside a non-alcoholic cocktail that I forget the name of (juice something?).
Anyways, the escargot was incredible and the beef Wellington was probably one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The meal was very filling so I would have to recommend going in with an empty stomach.
I will add that the place was very busy when I went so expect a higher noise level and the fact that you may need a reservation.
Péché also has a large selection of absinthe drinks if that’s something that you enjoy!

Ambience. Aura. Vibe.
A place like Péché usually needs a feeling to describe what it’s like to eat there. Darkened dining area and a bustling chatter in the heart of Downtown Austin make this place a must-try for anyone who enjoys a stellar drink paired with mouth-watering food. My group ordered the Macaroni and Cheese. It was delightful, albeit a bit oily. Additionally we got the escargot 🐌 and for a first timer, it was not bad! Definitely worth trying.

And my table of four ordered six drinks. The incredible ‘Sazerac’ - strong absinthe cocktail that is fun and the ‘Lions Tail’ - a fun bourbon and lime cocktail were the standouts. Peach Negroni was very good as well. Overall, come hungry and thirsty and have a great time.

Nice location and vibes, huge & unique cocktail list. But there are no prices on the drink menu, the chocolate dessert was dry and bitter & the bartenders are distant. Smells odd when walking in. Crème brûlée was yummy

Peche is my favorite spot to grab dinner and drinks in Austin. The escargot and Duck Mac n Cheese are amazing and the wine list is spot on.

The vibes are here, the atmosphere is outstanding and the service at the bar is great.

This is one of the spots I recommend to visitors and locals alike. This is definitely a spot worth checking out.
