I was recommended Donati’s from a friend who knows the owner and had nothing but great things to say about their flowers and business. I called to place an order for flowers and referenced the photo I’ve attached which is on their website. Over the phone, the employee told me they did not have those exact flowers in stock but they would make it very similar to the photo. The day of pick up when my fiance entered the store he waited over 10 minutes before anyone even greeted him or asked if they could help him, even though there were 5 employees who saw him and continued working on other bouquets. After pickup, I asked him to send me a picture of the flowers and to say I was disappointed was an understatement. The bouquet looked NOTHING SIMILAR to what they promised. For $75 there isn’t even 10 STEMS of flowers in this bouquet. It is so bare to the point you can see the floral foam straight through. I called to discuss my disappointment and the employee said she “has no idea” what bouquet I was talking about and she didn’t make it so she isn’t sure. She said I could bring it back for them to add more flowers but due to their hours and my work schedule that wasn’t an option. Finally, she refunded me $30 of the $75 total. The flowers were picked up at 2:30pm and by 9pm the same night one of the sunflowers were wilted and one of the roses had already started turning brown. Needless to say, this would be my first and final time going from Donatis.

I had ordered a plant to send for sympathy. I received a phone call from Donati’s letting me know their supplier had left and did not deliver the plant. They were able to substitute for a peace lily and added additional flowers at no extra cost to me. The lily was beautiful! I appreciated their fast response and willingness to fix the order. We have used Donati’s for years and will continue to do so.
