This Segway Tour was it some of the City‘s expansive Mural Arts on display throughout the city!

I was glad I chose to enjoys the murals by ‘Segway’! If you are hesitant..push pass the fear and decide to enjoy yourself while learning the history behind the murals!

The tour was wonderful and now I am hooked on Segways!

We ended up having a private tour with Howard called “Best of Philadelphia Food Tour” which was awesome. Howard is extremely knowledgeable about not just food but he has an obvious passion for Philadelphia and told us a lot about the city’s history as well as its remarkable architectural history. We did our first 3 tastings in the Reading Terminal Market (and learned that it’s pronounced “redding” not “reeding”). (1) Fox & Son Fair Foods where we had a hand dipped corn dog, fried cheese curds, and house made ranch. The fried cheese curds were a first for us - lightly battered and the cheese was just melted inside - delicious! (2) Dinic’s roast pork sandwich with chopped broccoli rabe on a delicious roll that stood up to the juices from the roast pork without getting all soggy - also delicious (3) Termini Bros cannoli with a wonderfully thick and crispy shell hand filled with ricotta cheese, italian cream, and chocolate chips - it was fabulous and not too overly sweet. We left the market and headed to (4) Snap for a custom made pizza - the Kennett Square with herb butter, Kennett mushrooms, crumbled goat cheese, baby arugula, shredded mozzarella oil and drizzled with truffle oil. Seth and I shared a whole pizza and had to get a box to take some back to the hotel with us. So good. Next was (5) Goldie’s for a banana tehina shake which was bizarrely good - made with Soom tahini - vegan, dairy free but creamy and delicious. Our last taste was from the (6) Philly Pretzel Factory which we ended up just taking back to the hotel with us. We had a ton of food and really enjoyed talking with Howard who was so very accommodating during our tour waiting in line for us to get us food and giving us a ton of great tips for other meals while we’re in Philly. Highly recommended by 2 foodies who tend to travel the world just to eat.

We had a great time on the Philly cheese steak tour. We went to 5 different sandwich locations via Segway. Our tour guide, Barry was friendly and helpful and pointed out interesting things or stories along the way.

Rick Heimann was our guide and he was super passionate and incredibly knowledgeable regarding the history of our City of Brotherly Love!!!
We had such a lovely afternoon with our friends walking the old cobblestone streets and stopping to learn about our past.

One of the best Segway tours ever!
We’ve done Segway tours all over - Rome, Denver, Athens, Palm Beach, Crete -
This one was as perfect as they get!
Our tour guide was Barry. He was funny, informative, considerate and the most concerned for our safety we’ve ever seen. Training was excellent. The facility had a restroom and a vending machine with drinks. SO important!
We did the one hour tour, riding by some of my favorite Philly sites, including Elfreth’s Alley and the Italian Market. Just enough to be challenging but very doable for this old lady, and great fun for the teenager who joined our group. We all had big grins when we finished.
Barry took photos along the way. Wonderful keepsakes.
Thanks Barry! I’ll be back with more out of town visitors soon.

Little aside - next door is a lovely casual cafe for a little relaxation after your tour.

I liked the way Howard show us the city, we took a city walking tour. He is great guide and know a lot about the city history. Philly is a rich city about history of US.

Adam was a fantastic tour guide! His knowledge of Philly history is very impressive. We had an amazing tour of Old City and Magic Gardens and a delicious walk through the Italian Market. Adam is passionate about the city and it shows through his tours. I cannot recommend enough taking a tour with Adam next time you’re in Philly! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best of Philadelphia Food Tour
Howard was a fantastic tour guide. He obviously is passionate about Philadelphia history, local food, and architecture and enjoys sharing his knowledge. Impressive how much he knows about the history of the local chefs. Not only was all the food fantastic but he also gave great recommendations for other restaurants and areas to explore. Highly recommend this tour!
