Best bang for your buck, this place is amazing. Inside and out. Super easy to check-in and check-out. They have reindeer that stay right next to your igloo and a nice nature trail. It snowed every day/night during our stay and the owner made sure to shovel all of the snow off the deck and parking areas each day. He was very welcoming and full of knowledge.

They are next door to a collective where you can meet and walk reindeer as well as dog sled!

It was hard to imagine sleeping in an Igloo when I made this reservation, but it is even more fun than I anticipated. They are not ice, but feel unique and cozy. This place is 40 minutes from the Fairbanks airport in a gorgeous wooded area with Alaska reindeer in a clearing in front of your door. We saw the northern lights from our deck on the one night it didn't rain. Inside is a comfy bed and a kitchenette if you want to get groceries for breakfast or other meals. I would definitely recommend this unique place!

WOW! I have traveled all over the world and this is the most amazing place I have stayed. Being from Georgia it was amazing to stay in an igloo with reindeer less than 20 feet away. The igloo was amazing! The decorations, furniture and amenities are wonderful! The views from the igloo and deck are awesome! The reindeer were in the rut so they were calling each other during my stay. The bed was comfortable and had a real fur blanket! The owner thought of everything. They even have a projector that will make it look like the northern lights and stars are on the ceiling. I wish I could give it more than five stars! You can tell that the owner is passionate about guests having an amazing experience during their stay. If you are debating about staying here just book an igloo and check it out for yourself. I promise you will not be disappointed! I will definitely be staying here again when I visit Alaska!

Really enjoyed our night at Pleasant Valley Reindeer Ranch. The reindeer were so fun to watch! Our igloo was very comfortable, beautifully decorated, cozy and warm, and we had an enjoyable stay. We missed the cafe being open for dinner or breakfast so ended up at the little store instead. Unfortunately no northern lights due to clouds, but fun experience anyway. Highly recommend!

My spouse and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was a snap decision after being unable to book into the lodge at Chena Hot Springs and what a happy accident! This place is wonderful, private, clean, and quiet. The cabins are lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen amenities were nice. Enjoy a lazy day of sleeping in and sitting on the porch watching the reindeer, or head out to the hot springs or Fairbanks if you're looking for something to do; the location's great for either. It's also rural enough that you can enjoy a nice aurora show if the weather's cooperating. We'll definitely be back!

I am not sure words alone are enough to describe the magic of this place. The best part is it’s so affordable! I planned this trip for my daughter’s 11th birthday and in hopes of seeing the aurora borealis, and pleasant acres did NOT disappoint! Every igloo is centered exactly at 30 degrees facing where the northern lights show up and I saw them from the comfort of my heated igloo! Alaska is a wondrous place full of adventure and beauty everywhere you look, with the help of Kenny from Pleasant acres I found even more specific things to do with my daughter. I can’t say enough lovely things about this place and Kenny, do yourself a favor, BOOK NOW!

This has been an AMAZING experience here at Pleasant Acres Reindeer Ranch! The property is in great shape. The reindeer are adorable and fun to watch! The dome igloo is genius, its decor is simplistic and luxurious at the same time! We’re in love with this place and feel lucky that we stayed here! Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing experience! Our fingers are crossed for Northern Lights tonight!

What a great place to stay! We stayed in the first igloo and I highly recommend it as the reindeer food and water stations are in front of it. The igloo was so comfortable and well appointed. We did not miss having a TV at all. Unfortunately there were thick clouds at night so we didn’t see the northern lights. We had a great chat with a worker and his dog Paige and he explained a lot about reindeers to us. All in all a wonderful experience. Well worth a few extra minutes to get there from Fairbanks. Don’t delay, book early as they sellout.
