I booked this experience for a group of 11 for a getaway weekend. We wanted something adventures.

Upon arrival, we checked in. They check our waivers, gave us our wristbands and helmets. We then waited until our time which was about 15 minutes. It allowed us to take pictures and videos to remember the experience.

When our time arrived, we got a safety briefing and a practice ride, which was nice. We then left to go.

The tour was guided. We rode in a single file line behind one another. The first part of the route was easier terrain to handle to get the feel for it. It was a little redundant but still fun for people who haven’t done it before. We stopped for more pictures and to warm up a bit. We then went to the other side which was rougher terrain which had steep hills and more bumps and dips. This side I loved. We then came back!

Couple of notes:
- LAYER UP. You don’t expect how cold you’ll be from the wind while driving. My hands were freezing. I wish I had better gloves.
- If you’re looking to go rouge this isn’t the type of tour you want.

Overall, I do recommend for people to get some adventure who have no done to before.

Amazing First Time Experience, and it won't be my last ! The Instructors were very informative with a good sense of humor.

Really enjoyed our tour, tour guides were very informative and attentive. Made sure we made it back in one piece we did a hour tour. I do t know if they have longer tours but I would definitely like to come back and do a longer tour! Thanks for everything team!

The Best Trails, the Best Service, and the Best Price!! Our guide Ashley was amazing and Brittany in the office was awesome as well..We can't wait to return. BEST ATVS IN THE POCONOS, hands down!!

Terrible ride. The guide went extremely slow, under 10 miles per hour, and took us on the same path repeatedly. Service was good, but the ride was frustrating and disappointing. Wouldn't recommend.

The staff are super friendly, on time, and helpful. The quads were easy to ride and instructions easy to follow. When you show up you sign a waiver, choose a helmet style and get fitted for one, and then you wait for the rest of your group to show up. When it’s time the instructors teach everyone the basics of the ATV and they have a dirt circle path they have everyone go around on to practice to make sure they got it down. Then everyone goes off as a group (everyone who paid for a slot at the time you also booked, so we had 4 total groups with us, 8 doubles and 4 singles). The main part of the ride is in the woods behind them on various paths. The ride time after instruction and practice is a little less than an hour but it still feels like a substantial amount of time when you’re out there. They stop once while out for a quick break (your thumb will need it!) and to allow you to take pictures.

Why 4 and not 5 stars:
-no real bathrooms only portable potties, although they were fairly clean
- no shade to wait in besides your car while waiting for the rest of the groups to show up
-no option for a private ride or only riding with more experienced riders. Your auto mixed with anyone else who paid for that time slot too.
-if you’re an experienced rider, it’s fun, but may seem a little boring compared to what you usually do. All the atvs are fully automatic so no gear shifting, there’s no huge mud puddles hills or rocks to get over. There’s a few but they’re minor. This is set up to be beginner friendly which is great for first timers but maybe not so much for experienced ones. It’d be cool if they had a more advanced option.
-for $100+/hr, I’d like the option for the more advanced trails
-it’s pricey, but every atv place is priced like this
-while out someone wasn’t listening to directions or rules and ran their atv into a tree and then later flew themselves off. My first issue is this is really hard to do at the pace we were going and if you were just paying attention and not being foolish or silly, so that person in our group should’ve been removed for safety reasons but wasn’t. They were out with one of the guides and watched. So I guess that’s an acceptable 2nd best solution. But my other issue with this is the whole group had to stop when this happened, eating about 5 minutes of our time the first time with the tree and about 10 or so minutes the second time when he flew off, with the rest of the group just sitting there. When you pay a lot by the hour, 15 minutes is substantial for unplanned ride time just sitting there, that’s $25. Multiple guides go out in these groups (4-6), so one or two of the guides at that point should’ve stayed with the rider causing problems and the rest of the guides kept on with the rest of the group. But ultimately we still had fun once we got moving again.
-it’s not like rock run where you get to go out on your own and pick your trails based on difficulty. You’re following a guide on a pre selected easier trail. Def a beginners place.

First off, keep an open mind that some of the reviews that you see are not always accurate. I was one of those ones that read some of the reviews about the hills and a few other things, and found out that none of them are true. I was nervous after reading the reviews because I had my daughter with me, but with everything we had an absolute blast, the staff that we had was Fish, Ray, Jim, and Chris. Our lead person was Ray and he was an absolute riot. I stuck out since I was the mom and oldest at age 44 in the group.
My kids r 12 & 22. I stayed in the back as I knew I would b slow, yup was and got lost but they were always right there popping out making sure u were back on track. Jim(I believe I got him right), he was the dad from track and he stayed in front of me after that. They were all so good to us and I would highly recommend going and trying it out. We will b back again for sure even though it will b a 3 hr ride, well worth it. Now to add since I was a worry wart but had so much fun... in there is hills and the terrain has rocks, mud holes and lots of turns, but the machine r safe and sturdy. We will definitely b back!!

Had a great experience at Pocono ATV Tours! They were very patient with us as we had never ridden ATV's before. Would highly recommend!
