This spring was ok. Nice sized swim area with some shallow areas that lead around bend a short way to the river. Fishing is available, but it's off the bank just through the trees. Unfortunately didn't bring my gear down with me. A bit of a walk from parking to the spring so use a cart. Didn't stay long in the spring. Water is clear, but the algae is abundant.

We went to Poe Springs park on the Santa Fe River to launch our kayaks for an 8 Mike trip down to the SR 47 bridge. This is a nice park with a good launch site for kayaks. We did not otherwise explore the park, so can't further comment.

Best time we ever had ! To top off a great kayaking day, Paul and his wife barbecue onsite at the concession building. The chili cheese nachos were delicious, a generous big serving. They had already sold out on their pulled pork and barbecue eats. We got their signature lemonade with blueberries, and I must say, the best lemonade I've ever had (They also have Strawberry and regular lemonade). Their son runs the kayak, tubing and pick up, he was just as awesome giving tips about kayaking best springs to snorkel, etc, and true to his word. Douglas and I were very pleased.

This was a pretty beautiful spring. Me and my family had a really great time here the water was super cold. And it's a good little walk down to the spring into the river. They have grills and picnic tables the bathrooms and you can rent tubes. All in all was a wonderful day. But it is usually super packed with people everywhere.

Poe springs Park was amazing! The spring is incredible and has a very large swimming area with ropes to swing out into the water. There were a couple of trails to explore and plenty of space to picnic. Will definitely return!

Great spot to stop while kayaking the Santa Fe River. This park has a little bit of everything. Beautiful spring, great hiking, and lots of parking and picnic areas. There is a nice playground, enclosed Pavillion, and lots of room to roam. There is a small boat ramp available as well. It's definitely a nice park to check out with the family.

Great place to swim and kayak the Santa fe river great price rentals but we had our and cost 20 bucks to get returned to our vechiles cause we had our own kayaks
