My boyfriend and I stayed at Cabin 4 over Labor Day to celebrate his birthday and wow are we glad we did. The staff care about this place dearly and take care of it as so. We had an absolute blast having no cell service and no plans except to relax. The cabins have everything you would need and more, we hope to return soon. Thank you Halle and team for the wonderful stay. If you go on a busy weekend bring a bandana for dust.

Me and my now husband spent our wedding night here and it was absolutely gorgeous, i myself have been coming up to this place since I was 4 years old. This place is Colorado paradise and seriously the best place on earth! You can’t beat the wildlife, kindness, views, and the amazing rustic cabins with the antique wood burning stoves. You need to come and experience this beautiful amazing place!

Halle, and everyone else I met, were all friendly and kind people and the cabin and bathroom were spotless. It is incredibly close to State Forest State Park, which is one of the most beautiful and under rated places in CO for hiking.

We have camped outside of Gould for years. Camping in July we needed ice. We drove the KRX to the little store at Powderhorn Cabins. Hallie greeted us as we walked in. We had been by the store and cabins several times over the years and had never stopped. I asked Hallie if I brought a few girlfriends to Gould would they have a cabin for 4 or 5 of us. They do and we just got home from a 2 night stay! We had so much fun. Hallie told us about the Rand store and it's connection to Teller City. We hiked Teller City and stopped in Rand. We went for a hike on one of the trails that I had been 4 wheeling. Hallie was so gracious. She made us feel like part of the family and Gould community. Thanks Hallie! We will be back!

Our Stay at Powderhorn cabins was fantastic. We went there to escape the big city life and to unwind. We also went there to see the Moose in the area. And Boy did we! Run, don't walk to the Powderhorn cabins if you are looking to escape the big city. This place was nothing short of magical. The moose photos were taken just down the road from the cabins.

My husband and I literally just pulled in the driveway from our weekend adventure to Gould. I grew up in Gould, and have very fond memories of the beauty, serenity, and magic of the small mountain community. We have stayed at the Powderhorn Cabins a few times, and we always enjoy our stay! I planned this surprise trip for my husband's birthday, and it was amazing! The staff and amenities at the Powderhorn are wonderful. If you are looking for a true, warm rustic experience-this is your place! There are modern and rustic cabins, a pristine bathroom/shower house, and the scenery is UNBELIEVABLE!!! Whether you want to relax, hike, hunt, or fish...this is an amazing place to call home while you are in Gould. Thank you for everything!
