My organization hired Powered by Professionals (PbP) this year to support both our gala production and fundraising. The PbP team was indeed professional, brought a great deal of expertise, and were a joy to work with.

Having their support was a GAME CHANGER for our small nonprofit! While the price tag may feel intimidating at first, upon completion of the gala our event revenue increased by over 60% from last year to this year! In other words, we raised more than triple their fee in additional revenue this year (over the total raised last year). So not only did they pay for themselves, but this is the first time I have walked away from the gala without feeling overwhelmed and exhausted!

I highly recommend them for anyone looking to take their events, fundraising, org to the next level!

I had high hopes for my experience with PBP, but unfortunately, it fell short in several critical ways. The service promised accountability and professional behavior, but in practice, I found it lacking. Here are the issues I encountered:

Lack of Follow-through: Despite initial assurances, there was a noticeable lack of follow-through on commitments made during sessions.

Inconsistent Communication: Communication was inconsistent, making it difficult to establish a trusting and productive therapeutic relationship.

Unmet Expectations: The services did not meet the standards expected for effective therapy. Issues that were supposed to be addressed were often overlooked or not adequately explored.

Professionalism Concerns: There were instances where professionalism seemed to be compromised, which is concerning for anyone seeking reliable therapeutic support.

Overall, my experience with PBP left me feeling disillusioned and unsupported. For those considering their services, I would advise thorough consideration and perhaps exploring alternative options for a more dependable therapeutic experience.

Powered by Professionals is an outstanding organization. The team is amazing at what they do, offering wholehearted support, outreach, guidance, and more for all facets of fundraising. Darren, Kara, Donnie, and Alex were essential in taking our annual fundraiser to the next level. Not only did they direct our event planning meetings, coordinate directly with our donors, track financial data, and offer on-site event support, but they also connected with our organization's values in a unique and authentic way. Leading up to the event, they were easily accessible by email and phone and responded promptly whenever we had questions. PBP made the management of the guest list, silent and live action, and stage program much simpler.
