I wanted to stay outside of Phoenix on our visit, and since most of our activities were on the east side of town, I chose Cave Creek to stay. We liked being outside of the city. The room we had was very large. There was a kitchen, 2 comfy chairs in front of the tv, a king bed, and table and chairs for dining. We never cooked or ate in the room, but we could have. There is no breakfast service at the hotel, so we walked to the Grotto Cafe for coffee and pastries each morning. It offered full breakfasts if you wanted. There is an ice cream parlor in Prickly Pear Plaza, and we indulged twice during our visit. Our room had a huge balcony with two chairs, and we sat outside often to take in the view of the mountains. Cave Creek is a "cowboy town." So the shops in the area sell rusted figures for your home. There is an elevator on site. We were on the 2nd floor and did not use the stairs. The parking lot is large, and we never had a problem finding a spot. I would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting.

We loved our stay at the Prickly Pear Inn! The rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable. I love the way the rooms are decorated! We had a wonderful little patio with a view of the mountains. The Inn is in a great location for checking out all the shops in Cave Creek. We hope to stay there again soon!

We arrived after the lobby closed, but the detailed instructions for the lockbox were perfect. We had no problem. The "Purple" room is spacious and loved having the vanity area separate from the shower & toilet. The room was very spacious with a comfy bed & sofa. We only used the frig & keurig but the kitchenette was nice. There was ample hanging and drawer space is you are staying for a longer trip than ours. The location was convenient to walk to several places and had a delicious ice cream store downstairs. It's not a full-service hotel, but we didn't expect that. Very happy that we chose Prickly Pear Inn.

A delightful South Western experience. Commodious and comfortable rooms, with a patio facing West ( Bearded Room) as we enjoyed a Sonoran Sunset.....sipping wine. Wish we could have stayed there longer! Close to all the restaurants and amenities within Cave Creek. Je Reviens!!

We stayed for a week over Christmas and loved every minute of our stay! We had the Bunny Ears room, it was spotless and cozy and had a fabulous sun deck. ||The kitchenette was great, and there are fun stores and a pub below - but our room had zero noise issues.||There’s a Mexican restaurant next door which has terrific food and lovely courtyard and pond, and across the road are more shops and such.||It’s well situated, within 10 minutes of pretty much anything we wanted to do in the area. ||Guest services was attentive and responsive and we will absolutely be back! ||Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. Shout out to Roger for the efficient check in, great restaurant recommendations and general conversation. We stayed in the Bearded Room which has a very comfortable bed and pillows and the kitchenette was well stocked with most everything you need.

This lovely boutique hotel is situated in a fantastic location in the beautiful town of Cave Creek. You will be astonished at the attentiveness of the staff, and surprised at the quality of the local food offerings and shopping venues. There is plenty to do during your stay, and rest assured you will have a quality room and quality service on standby for your every need.

This place is a gem! I found it online and being there in person is so much better than what the website and pictures depict. The room and entire facility was spotless and beautiful. Everywhere you look the finishes are high end and gory. Cave Creek is the most quaint and beautiful place and so happy to have found both Cabe Creek and The Prickly Pear Inn
