This is my first time to experience Prime time sports. Will not be back!! The price is outrageously expensive, especially for a family. The basketball games were way out of hand because the refs did not call fouls as they should. Two of our players hurt their ankles and when refs don’t call like they should that is what happens—- kids get hurt. Bad habits of basketball are also learned when refs don’t call fairly. I am not a happy grandparent!!

Poorly ran organization for tournaments. Everything is chaos. Grossly over priced to get in the door for parents. Referees are here for a paycheck only with no clue how to call a basketball game. I hope our team avoids any future tournaments with this organization.

Primetime needs to do better. Hire better referees. How do you have one referee making a call just to have the other one overrule the call and change it?! We had two referees during a game where one did this multiple times to the other ref. It was unfair and confusing for the players. One ref was clearly bias and the other was attempting to make fair calls but was basically being bullied by the other one. An official from PrimeTime was a witness to this and did nothing to correct it. Plus, they allowed a TikTok team into competition. If you don’t know, that’s a ā€œteamā€ that’s not a real team, just a random group of people that registers for a tournament as a joke! All to get TikTok views! They had a ridiculous, borderline offensive name. They came in with white t shirts with numbers written with marker on them. Somehow, despite all the red flags, they played a half a game and then had to forfeit AFTER the other coach complained that this was a TikTok joke. You can’t be so concerned with making money that you don’t uphold the integrity of the game. That’s not fair to the other teams that paid and really came to play and didn’t because of the negligence of the organization. The faculty was extremely dirty. Bathrooms with no toilet paper, trash under the stands, and no one even attempting to clean.

Prime Time Sportz, while the people working and in charge are very nice, is a joke. Why they come up and create a schedule for league play I don't know because EVERY single game we have had this year (Fall and now Spring) have been rescheduled. They wait until the week of to call and reschedule games, because other teams have other things going on that are more important. It's crazy. I have never coached for a team that has so many reschedules. We have had our schedule since the beginning of the Fall season, and yet every week they call to cancel, reschedule, move us to other fields somewhere else, or something else comes up. I have been extremely patient all year long, but enough is enough. Every team plays in other leagues, other leagues are not flexible, so we end up having to juggle OUR schedule around consistently so that the teams we play against can play at other leagues. I am sorry but if you are unable to make your game because you have another game somewhere else, it should be considered a FORFEIT and that is it! No juggling, playing with schedules, pissing a parents and coaches off. Most leagues grant special requests BEFORE the schedules come out, once schedules come out they should be FINAL. Completely unprofessional and unorganized. The fields they play at are nice and the referees have always been good, I will give credit where credit is due. But other than that, none of my teams will play there again.

We have tried to give Primetime sports an opportunity on multiple occasions bc when they get it right it’s done right but more times than not, it’s gone wrong. We have worked with them for 7 on 7 and have had several issues from last minute cancellation and scheduling mix ups. The last straw after talking with their staff multiple times prior to our tournament the bracket was incorrect and the refused to change it. They took our money and said we could play but would automatically lose our games bc they placed us in the wrong bracket. Never again and I recommend no one else to work with them.

Ok. PrimeTime Sports is thought of as one of the larger, more organized basketball tournament conductors in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. There is always some decent talent in each tournament, along with some teams that are probably more recreational. Here are the issues.

We've been in several tournaments in gyms without A/C. There seemed to be zero sense of urgency to fix the issue. We were playing in The MAC in Lewisville, and it was so hot and humid inside that there was condensation on the court. It was actually dangerous to be playing there. We asked to leave the doors open to allow air through the building, but was told no.

Three weeks later, we end up playing in another tournament of theirs. We end up at Coppell North Middle School (how do they decide which teams play at the high school and which play at the middle schools?). Guess what. It was so warm and humid that the gyms smelled like a musty locker room. There were zero concessions on premise. If you wanted anything other than a drink of water out of a water fountain, you had to drive to the nearest convienence store. Host a concession to pay for an app (see the next paragrah about that).

Lastly, how can a company this size that is doing this as a business not utilize an app? When we send out our game times for the week, the first thing parents ask is, "Which app do we use?" I tell them, "It's PrimeTime. They are the only one that I know of that doesn't utilize an app.".

To still be handwriting tournament brackets is so primitive. We went from the middle school to the high school to play a game, and the PrimeTime reps at the high school didn't even know who had won the game from the middle school. Some of the smallest tournament directors in the area have their own app. I understand that it's about making money, but your business would surely increase if you would give coaches and parents the tools to make it more convienent for everyone involved.
