This hotel is probably the best value in the Petaluma area. Do not expect however to find a 5-star resort. The staff at the desk are friendly but not overly. Breakfast is OK, and we enjoyed the hot sausage/bacon/scrambled egg buffet style. The pool is not very big, and there were a few leaves and a plastic bag floating in it. But overall, we were happy with our stay, and given the area, it's a good value for the money.

Having worked in the hotel industry I can say I always inspect room for cleanliness as a habitat. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail the housekeeper took. Neat lines on the linen, fancy folds on the towels in restroom. We had a comfortable nice sleep, and enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend.

Stayed 3 nights in July in a king, second floor room. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Tub and shower were clean and operating well with good water flow and hot water supply. Breakfast was good, with enough options to provide variety in a 3-night stay. Pool and hot tub were smallish, but suitable for the number of guests using them. Check in and out were quick.

My only complaint was that there was considerable road noise in the room at times. We were in a room near the Redwood/McDowell intersection, which seemed to function as a bit of a racetrack. Didn’t seem to bother my wife, but it did affect my sleep to some extent. Rooms on the other side of the building probably wouldn’t experience this. Overall, I would rate this hotel 9 out 10.

Positive: The hotel was clean and exterior was nice. Felt safe and in a good area. The other guests were decent and not weird or disrespectful. It was quiet and you can sleep good. Negative: Only thing I didn?t like was the $100 deposit. Felt it was too high.

We got in on Fri and room clean big gap under front door thought was odd. Found coffee maker under cabinet with bottled water. Thought that was odd place for it but never touched it. We don't use the single serve pods. Sat morning breakfast was cold. Warming trays obviously were not keeping things warm enough. Saturday afternoon & all night there was a loud party going on. I mentioned this to person at front desk "I hope the loud party quiets down tonight" to let them know..but how could they NOT know it was only a few doors away from the office and next to housekeeping!! Literally ALL NIGHT LONG!! I had to keep AC on to drown out some of the noise. Slamming doors at 01:23 and banging on door. Ugh never again. They charged my card $500 for a $376 stay they charged my card $250 for a missing coffee maker that we never touched them they "found" it right after they had already charged my card. BS at best. Now my $$ are held up for several days in limbo. Supposedly the "incidentals" fee will be charged back to my card but I do not see a reversal even issued!! Never again will I stay here never would I have any friends or family stay here

I had an absolutely amazing stay at the Quality Inn Petaluma The room was very nice as well as clean and tidy. Breakfast was served every day until 10:30 a.m. and they even had hot items such as sausage and bacon with eggs and tortillas and a little salsa bar. The linens were fresh and crisp and in newer condition. The customer service was above and beyond and they were very considerate to my needs for late checkout. Overall I would highly recommend this place which is right off the freeway and has a great rate. Also their family friendly atmosphere acknowledges the safety of this property. They also have a pool for when it's hot!

The rooms were neat and had a good English breakfast. The pool is heated until November but a little bit too chlorinated and a good jacuzzi. Would recommend for an overnight stay.

The carpet was pretty worn and should probably be replaced.
The appearance of the hotel is pleasant. It looks more like apartments.
The breakfast was nice. Quite a few choices. The staff cleaned tables as soon people left.
The staff was always friendly and helpful.
The hotel is conveniently located off the freeway.
Parking was limited at times.
Cameras were posted in the parking lots.
There were quite a few electric vehicle charging stations.
