Great vacation stay in May 2024! We booked a small room at the resort. Beach chairs and umbrella are included in the rental cost, which was great. No extra fees and no need to buy anything. Beach access required crossing a busy road, but that seems typical for Anna Maria Island. The private beach itself was fantastic, clear waters and plenty of space. Not too crowded. The resort's pool and cook out area/cabana were nice additional features that we took advantage of while we were there. Would stay there again!

Thank you to Kathy & Peter for making our stay AWESOME! Very nice place and location is perfect close to everything we walked to all the restaurants and the beach is literally across the street- its comfortable as well - the pool is great and the rooms are very nice! Very Inviting and worth the money.

Loved the location which was steps away from the beach. Easy to find a spot and hunker down for the day. The pool was right outside the back and the kids loved the privacy and feel of their own pool with no crowds. The kitchenette was nice to pop in and out of to cook or grab snacks and meals while at the beach or pool. Thankful we stayed here and already booked again for next year. Smaller feel and less crowded if that is what you are looking for. Quiet and peaceful stay with super friendly staff. Exactly what we were looking for.

We can not say enough about Kathy and the comfort of our stay here at the Queen's Gate Resort!! Our adorable unit was equipped with everything we could need (without asking for it) and the location was outstanding in regards to instant access to the private beach, amazing restaurants and great shopping! We plan on returning again and again and highly recommend both short and long term stays! The pool, barbecue area and laundry accessibility provides even more ease! It was our first time in over 40 years of travel choosing to extend our trip and can't wait to return!

From the moment we arrived to Queens Gate Resort, we were welcomed like family from Kathy and Peter. We were shown our king studio room and the entire grounds which are landscaped beautifully. The room was equipped with everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is perfect, across the street from the 🏖️ beach and close to Bridge St where there are shops and restaurants.We very much enjoyed our week long stay. The resort has a very relaxed and friendly ambience, with each accommodation having a nice porch to relax on. Beautiful pool and sitting area. We look forward to returning again.

So we've been returning to Anna Maria for years....can't believe we didn't have the pleasure of staying here sooner!!! We drove over 19 hours with cats 😬to get here. I had found the beach bungalow there, with a screened in back porch that was pet friendly, but not only pet friendly 🎉FELINE FRIENDLY TOO🎉!!! For those of you that have never tried booking a small house on Anna Maria with kitties...this is damn near impossible! #ForReal. After having the worst experience stopping at a LaQuinta in Georgia (never again LaQuinta) to be honest my expectations were low. They impressed us so much and made vacation perfect. We even booked an extra day because we were so sad to leave!!! The house was clean, beautiful, and right next to the beach and the AMAZING. DELICIOUS. Wicked Cantina. Yes thank you lord 😄 The furbabies felt right at home. They loved the screened in outdoor porch. The owner and dude that checked us in were THE BEST. Honestly tho, could not have had a better stay elsewhere. Period. Will be returning in the future. P.S. the only reason I knew about the most amazing barrier island on earth was my uncle, who we visited a bunch of summers. He passed last year way to early. I truly see why he loved this island so much, and a piece of my heart will always be here❤️

My family and I have been coming here for more than 10 years, and every single time we come here, we have a great experience. It's clean, staff are friendly/accommodating, and it's in a prime location. Just a quick walk across a small (not so busy) street (just make sure to still look both ways) and you'll be right on the beach. The pool is also great and refreshing. The bed is also comfortable. Plus an added benefit to the resort is their resident cat Mickey (or Nicky), he is such a good boy. I know as a pet owner, he really helped when I missed my kitties. If you were to stay anywhere on Anna Maria Island, stay here.

Perfect location across the street from a beautiful beach and a short walk to two good restaurants and a beach bar. The room was clean and comfortable. Kathy, the manager, was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We will absolutely be coming back here on our next trip!
